Every time they have to dignify these memes in their propaganda spreads, it creates a Streisand effect for them. The tendency for young people to grab on to anything that they deem censored does not work in the propagandists' favor, which means 'desperation'. The wheels are coming off.

Yes, exactly.

You can't win against memes by denouncing them, because that also propagates them.

Trump won in 2016 for the same reason: billions of dollars of free press. Doesn't matter that the articles were full of hysterical hate. It was still massive free publicity for Trump.

Isn't it interesting what a bunch of meat robot algorithms do in order to counter propaganda?

I'm telling you, the Internet will free us in time, but it takes time. It's not just telling the truth, and explaining why it's correct - that's not enough. Ridicule is what is taking down the establishment. Our establishment rules by fraud and force, and soon, it will just be by force. We'll see how long that lasts.

Bowie on this subject.

Once Starship is reality, and given 20-30 years, it's all over for Centralized and certainly one-world Authoritian Government. Multiple Corporations and certainly Religious Sects can afford colonization. Nothing Earthbound authorities can do about it, either, especially if it's up the gravity well to the outer system.

No.

Imagine the largest building you've ever been in, imagine never being able to leave it, and never being able to open a window.

That's the most luxurious space station you can imagine.

People think they want to live in that but they're just stuck in a prison. It's interesting because it's novel.

Say you're 100% free of taxation and the need to work, BUT you're confined in a bubble 1 mile in diameter. You are allowed to do whatever you want within the bubble. Will you take that deal? That's a better deal than any space colony.

Yes.

People have willingly colonized some far out places to get away from the Man.

Hollowed Out Asteroids put on a spin, you can have cities of tens or hundreds of thousands with acres of space apiece out there. THAT won't happen in 20-30 years, but maybe 100-200.

Humans have been happy living within a few square miles of their birthplace for thousands of years.

The future is really living in space itself and not bothering with gravity wells at all.

The Libertarian Left is just the gateway to the Authoritarian Left, as Leftists have shown 1990s-Today. It's not about your freedom, it's creating space for their paradigm, and then enforcing it, first by shame, then by socio-political forces.

Well, it's pointless to argue about this. Nobody alive today is going to have a chance to have an opportunity to experience it.

It would be HELL for me to live in a dome, or a rotating toroid. I don't even bother to drive, but I (used to) bike quite a bit. That gives me a 100 mile range in any direction.

I'm going to start biking again, I'm kind of tired of being a lump of shit.

Good on yah for taking it up again.

You can always bike in the Lava Tubes next time around, if Reincarnation is a thing.

Here's my typical workout route:

Since I'm back to being a fat pussy, that's my training route. Later, I'll be climbing to the top of 9.

https://tinyurl.com/3bhyyupz

That's a 1/2 mile climb straight up.

I'll do the pussy workout for 2 weeks before working up. Once I get used to real workout, I'll bike into Big Basin which is "closed" due to the fire, then to Boulder Creek, and then whatever to get out again. That's 80 miles, and nearly a full mile climb in total.
