Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, shared in Norway earlier today that gas and oil are currently needed to prevent civilizations from crumbling.

Elon Musk has figured some things out. He’s figured out how to be the world’s richest man, so that is something. He also can see that the world currently needs oil and gas and anything to the contrary in nuts. Musk even shared that oil and gas are needed to avoid civilization from crumbling.,

But unfortunately he didn't elaborate as well as I did, or he knows it would diminish the need for his vehicles.

No matter how many electric cars there will be, the World will still have the biggest ever demand for Crude Oil to refine for solvents, lubrication, and plastics as well as many other chemicals man is dependent on. IN the meantime, just as much Gasoline as ever would still be produced as a byproduct, even if they intentionally tried not to.
That petroleum would most certainly just end up being burned in power plants to charge up electric cars. It is Pointless and Stupid for the push to go Electric vehicles, to be policy driven and not consumer driven.
