I have viewed them as nothing more than theft, but at least they have widened the highways, and built the idiots their own lanes of paid misery. Actually it has freed up the Normie lanes, as all of the self serving, text reading, lane hogging, idiots seem to gravitate to those lanes. The Fear of Missing Out, compels them pay to get to where they are going. Plus there's an app so they can buy more idiot points to use. All of that extra revenue has not only paid for their Highway to Hell, but it seems to have lessened the burden for the need for Gas Tax.
