Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, has said that speculation about the possibility that the explosion on the Crimean Bridge may trigger Russia’s nuclear doctrine is "an incorrect formulation of the question".

Details: "No. It is a totally incorrect formulation of the question," he said, responding to a question whether Russian President Vladimir Putin’s words mean that the explosion at the bridge, aimed at destroying crucial civilian infrastructure of Russia, raise the possibility of triggering Russia’s nuclear potential, and whether it falls within the scope of the nuclear doctrine.

Earlier, Peskov reported that Putin would conduct a meeting with members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation on Monday, 10 October 2022.

"The Security Council meeting is planned for tomorrow. We will tell you about topics after the President’s speech," Peskov stated, replying to a question when the Council was going to meet and if the explosion on the Crimean Bridge would be discussed there.

I do not give a shit about Ukraine. I would not be able to find it on a map. How would life be significantly different for the average Ukrainian if Russia took over? Why are we risking nuclear Armageddon over this?

This is not about Ukraine.

The US has been escalating tensions with Russia ever since Russia began prosecuting oligarchs and kicking them out. Russia also put their banking system under the thumb of their government. The US is competing with Russia to provide energy to Europe as well.

Talks of nuclear war is just media bullshit, and the government tries to keep the population in a constant state of fear. The Cold War has just restarted is all.

We are involved because we took 2400 THERMONUCLEAR warheads and shitload of ICBMs, cruise missiles and strategic bombers from Ukraine (and some from Kazakhstan and Belarus) in exchange for assurances of territorial integrity and sovereignty back in 1996. You should be old enough to remember that (unless you are some kind of wet behind the ears Millenial). Apparently we wanted nuclear non-proliferation bad enough to enter that bargain back then. I guess we could replace the nuclear capabilities we took and then disengage. Something tells me one doesn't exactly start "Speshual Military Opereyshun" against an adversary armed with 2400 nukes, so the whole covfefe would end pretty quickly. You might be onto something here, actually.

Say goodbye to the NNPT then. Maybe it's for the best as it was a fucking joke all along.

Russia took those, BACK.

We're involved because the US is raping yet another fucking country. Once Western Ukraine is destroyed and the population sufficiently depleted, the US government will tell Zelenskyy to sue for peace, US conglomerates will then go in, purchase all the resources, and then keep the people still in Ukraine in debt slavery paying back war bonds forever.

Soo, the how's that "enactment of nuclear doctrine" (whatever that word salad means) going? The bridge has been seriously damaged 3 times already and is barely functioning.

I told you all that nuclear saber rattling was BS, didn't I? Yas, I did, I fucking did.
