They are excluding those election crimes when committed to benefit Democratic candidates of course. It goes without saying when you're speaking of the FBI or DOJ.
The gubernatorial race might be one to watch. The RINO gubbernor can't run again, and so it is Dan Cox (R) against a race industrialist in a heavily democrat state.
The only prop I am considering voting yes is 27, online gambling
Reading through various sources, I’m concerned that there is something a miss with this prop however that’s being buried in their gift wrap.
Although on the surface, I believe in freedom for companies to start gambling sites and consenting adults of certain age to engage in it, there’s some fuzziness around the following:
- CA has existing agreement in place with Native American tribes when it comes to gambling in CA. If Prop27 passes, online gambling companies will still have to have agreements in place with Native American tribes before implementing anything. I don’t fully understand the details or why
- if prop27 passes, 90% of the online gambling revenue will go out of state. Seems like piss poor negotiation on the part of CA
- Native American tribes are heavily against prop27. That alone makes me think that I should consider voting yes on prop27. I’m not sure how I feel about them owning all of CA gambling revenue.
Yes, I remember when the California Lottery would solve all of the school, college and education needs and expenses of California forever. I think I would rather the native Americans have it. It never went to the schools, anyway, and we really don't know how the pork barrel apparatchiks managed to vaporize the monies. We have one of the worst school systems in the country to show for all that hot air.
I thought yes to 27 allows more people join gambling as it is online which I think is not good. I could be wrong.
I don't gamble or care to, but I'm 99% sure online is legal here in IL. Gambling is destroying sports in my opinion. I don't trust any professional team sports at this point to actually be competing and someone not throwing the game.
If you're a QB or star basketball player it's super easy to throw a game. It's not like they're going to Venmo or write a check for you throwing the game. You get cash. Tax free.
This of course has always happened, but I think it's more prominent than people think. It's ruining sports that were "seemingly" wholesome. Fantasy sports leagues don't help either.
