Lyme Disease. BTW there's a ferry to Plum Island biological research facility nearby.

.

but I rather have a lab that could cause a 28 Days Later event on an island like Plum Island than in the middle of America like Manhattan Kansas

Even better on Midway or Canton Island with quarantine procedures instead of around the densely populated Northeast.

Or downtown Portland, OR. There is no intelligent life there at all.

The difference between Gain of Function and Weaponization is claimed intent, most of the process is the same until designing delivery methods.

BTW, who believes the deer tick disease was hanging around the densely populated North East within hours of Boston, Providence, and minutes from New Haven and the mouth of heavily trafficked Connecticut River a short shoot from Hartford but was only first discovered in the 1970s in the middle of the Cold War?

"Oh yeah, the WuFlu emerged suddenly from some bats in a cave, in a region of China heavily populated for thousands of years. In all that time, no hungry band of Chinese got bit or scratched searching for protein or planting rice until 2020"

Lyme disease is pretty lame as a bioWEAPON: nobody really dies from
it and symptoms are rarely debilitating.

Cancer is one thing, but Lyme disease does seem like a minor thing. Or people are just weak? My uncle at 70 has it. He's fine. 95% sure my MCL is torn in my knee currently. Uncomfortable, yes. I just don't get effected by ailments all that often. When I do it's more a whatever situation and just battle through.

As a bioweapon I don't think Lyme disease is that. I think it's weak celebrities that act like they're debilitated to get attention. That's the only people I hear about with Lyme disease.
