Don't forget that what is traditionally 'Disney' is only a small part of their vast media empire. So long as the share price holds up and the dividends keep coming - despite this fiasco - shareholders just won't give a fuck.

It's official, Snow White is a massive bomb that will never repay the investment of $370M.

I just don't comprehend movie costs. $370M?? I get marketing, actors, crew, food, etc. but that just seems stupid. Should be a $50M proposition worst case. Besides the actors, most the crew is salaried by the company they work for. Those costs are generally set.
Sounds like a poorly run movie based on that number. Or they're greasing the wheels of buddies on the back of shareholders. I don't really care about the wokeness aspect as that will eventually go away. A vocal minority has a limited time and it's running out. I think they know it.

They released Prey[2022] and it was anti-white male woke as fuck, too.
Wait till they re-do Pocahontas and offend everybody.

Lilo and Stitch (2025) has a budget of $100 million and has made around $350 million worldwide after one week of being released.
It may result in at least a $400 million profit by the time it goes to Disney+ streaming service. I remember about 25 years ago how Disney movies would go to DVD and there was a lot of money to be made then for Disney.
Disney needs at least 3 winners like Lilo and Stitch per year to return to strong profitability.

We were good, but music is an industry where you have to know what dick to lick unfortunately.

What are you saying? You licked the wrong dicks? Is this why guitarists call their music passages "licks?"
The other guys could set up in 10 minutes with two loads. I was a half hour and carrying 5-7 loads from the car. They'd be outside where we loaded just smoking and having a great time while I was still working
In February 2021, Carano shared an Instagram post that compared "hating someone for their political views" to the persecution of Jews by their fellow citizens during the Holocaust... Shortly afterward, Lucasfilm stated that Carano was no longer employed by the company, saying that "her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable". A series of posts in which she mocked the use of face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States was also cited by Lucasfilm, as well as her repeated accusations of voter fraud during the 2020 presidential election.
Morgan & Morgan, Florida's largest law firm, sued Disney on September 17, 2025, seeking court approval to use Steamboat Willie in its ads.
The lawsuit followed Disney's refusal to clarify if it would sue Morgan & Morgan for trademark infringement despite Steamboat Willie's copyright expiring on January 1, 2024.
The firm's proposed black-and-white commercial depicts Mickey steering a boat while on dry ground, which results in a collision with Minnie's car, leading her to call Morgan & Morgan for legal assistance.
John Morgan condemned Disney's ambiguous stance, arguing that it is unreasonable for the company to claim ownership of the copyright and stating his willingness to pursue the case up to the Supreme Court if needed.
The case aims to confirm that Morgan & Morgan's ad use of Steamboat Willie does not infringe Disney's rights, potentially setting precedent for public domain character usage.
Shortly after Kimmel’s suspension was announced, Disney stock dipped about 3.5%. It continued to trade lower in subsequent days. The loss in market value has amounted to about $4bn.
