Disney (DIS) stock plummeted on Wednesday after the media giant reported fourth-quarter earnings results that missed expectations across the board, with the exception of subscriber net additions.

It's official, Snow White is a massive bomb that will never repay the investment of $370M.

Keep in mind, it was in production since 2022. They've been managing expectations for months on this one.

JEW Funder Peltz failed to seize board seats on Disney last year, claiming the company was out of touch with families and Disney's repeated failure to stick to the old tried and true formulas:

Lots of good things are happening. Kathleen Kennedy has her portfolio snatched away, and her counterpart at Amazon Streaming got canned.

This is the end of the woke era, esp. now as there will be actual financial performance pressure.

I just don't comprehend movie costs. $370M?? I get marketing, actors, crew, food, etc. but that just seems stupid. Should be a $50M proposition worst case. Besides the actors, most the crew is salaried by the company they work for. Those costs are generally set.

Sounds like a poorly run movie based on that number. Or they're greasing the wheels of buddies on the back of shareholders. I don't really care about the wokeness aspect as that will eventually go away. A vocal minority has a limited time and it's running out. I think they know it.

I think on this movie they did a lot of rewrites and stuff, dragging out the timeline and costs. Just one factor though.

More important than the monetary loss, this is a fatal indictment of Disney: complete creative and moral bankruptcy. The story that catapulted Disney to fame and fortune has now, in its woke reimagining, become the company's biggest failure.

Legendary woke failures deserve legendary memes.

Idiots.

They just need to fire the woke fucks that make them.

This is probably why Walt rotoscoped the original Snow White actress back in the 1930's - so he didn't have to deal with her bullshit post-production.

They still don't ficking learn.

Yes, this is real, not parody. Film to be released in November. And Disney owns it.

They released Prey[2022] and it was anti-white male woke as fuck, too.

Yeah, 20th Century Films is owned by Disney. And the movie Prey was not released in theaters on a $65 million budget, so consider it at least a $50 million loss (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prey(2022_film)#Release).

And Disney stock price is at October 2014 levels, like the 1995 to 2009 price slump (where it was $17 a share in both years).

Disney is just a barely profitable employer for the creative LGBQT population and Woke types..

20th Century Films is releasing this movie on Hulu and Disney+ this June : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predator:_Killer_of_Killers

Then yes, they release the Predator Badlands this November: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predator:_Badlands

.

Lilo and Stitch (2025) has a budget of $100 million and has made around $350 million worldwide after one week of being released.

It may result in at least a $400 million profit by the time it goes to Disney+ streaming service. I remember about 25 years ago how Disney movies would go to DVD and there was a lot of money to be made then for Disney.

Disney needs at least 3 winners like Lilo and Stitch per year to return to strong profitability.

I see Bob Iger now as Disney's CEO browbeating enough of Disney Studio's and even making subtle threats that he'll go to the media and claim antisemitism if they sabotage him because he is Jewish.

Iger is righting the ship. So expect less and less Woke agenda and more harmless family fun from Disney's like Lilo and Stitch.

I saw it. While I prefer the original, there was nothing wrong with it. No woke shit in it at all.
