yes, a vast majority are US Marines .... not sure why they would want US boots-on-the-ground instead of just launching air strikes from the carrier such on Hezbollah and Iranian forces invading from southern Syria and southern Lebanon

Yeah, the F-18's and F-35's (STOVL version) deployed from the carriers and assault ships can deliver precision-guided bombs. So they provide air support to the ground forces. They are a mobile air strip and air base.

Posting a second time, because it's that good:

758   AmericanKulak   2023 Oct 24, 9:53am

It's not good, it's Overblown Propaganda:

"Lied about Pearl Harbor" - Uh, Vals from multiple IJN Carriers didn't descend on Pearl Harbor and dive bomb ships at anchor?

Remember that Japan attacked US Shipping in China, disturbed our trade with China which was a big destination for US Exports, and started serveral wars of aggression with China. And the Japanese thirst for the food production and resources of the Philippenes was noted for years.

The First Iraq War didn't involve Saddam invading Kuwait and raiding into Saudi Arabia and launching missiles at neutral countries?

"Keep US Troops in Syria" - Really? What line regular formations were involved in the Syrian Civil War?

"Lied about the Luisitania" - What? The US has freedom of the seas. The Kaiser paid Clan na Gael to put bombs on US Ships and poison US Horse herds when we were neutral. We're going to sell corn and beans to France and Britain and if Germany tries to stop it with force, that's an act of war.

It's just another kind of 1690 to erase US Heroism, righteous response to foreign aggression, and Military Valor.

The butthurt stems from the episode when some Green Beret types called an arty/air strike on a bunch of Vaginer troops who decided to attack a Kurdish ouptost where they were stationed and wasted some 300 of these fuckers. The screeching hasn't stopped since. =))
761   RayAmerica   2023 Oct 24, 10:16am

I hate to say this, AmericanKulak, but I think you've been primed to accept all the war narratives that the American Government, which has loved war for well over 100 years, is telling you.

It's the very same government that is encouraging you to take a dangerous experimental 'vaccine,' which is turning out to be flat out genocide.

They lied for over 70 years that BOTH the diplomatic AND military Japanese codes were broken. Our wonderful government knew, in advance, that the attack was coming. Literally, the carrier attack force was being tracked, and Pearl was never notified that they were steaming towards them.
763   fdhfoiehfeoi   2023 Oct 24, 10:22am

And you didn't even mention the intentional provocation of US government blocking oil deliveries, and a number of other actions basically begging Japan to start a war with them.

"Lied about the Luisitania"

The lie about the Lusitania is that the Germans took out ads in American newspapers warning passengers that ships that were known to be carrying armaments would be considered an act of war against them. The fact is, passengers of the Lusitania were never informed that it was carrying armaments. The American media, the spokesmen for the warmongers in Washington, hid that fact from the American people while playing up the atrocity of the sinking.

War is hell, and it's the civilians that usually end up paying the highest price because they are the innocents of war.

"Truth is always the first casualty of war."
765   AmericanKulak   2023 Oct 24, 10:27am

No, I know 1619 demoralization bullshit when I see it.

The Japanese bombed Pearl Habor after years of declining relations; and they were lying to State Department negotiators knowing they were going to attack the US for months before December 1941 to buy time. Then Hitler declared war on us.

The Kaiser paid saboteurs to put bombs on US Shipping, blow up a Nitrate storage facility at Black Tom, paid Mexican bandits to raid over the US border, and sank our neutral ships that have a right to sell donkeys and grain to whomever we damned feel like as a sovereign state with Freedom of the Seas.

We have to take a 2-3% GDP wallop because the Kaiser doesn't want us selling to our top 3 trade partners because HE is at war with them? Fuck outta here.

Saddam invaded Kuwait. We never gave "permission". Saddam mentioned he might take action to prevent side-drilling and asked if we had a problem with that. It was misunderstood that he was meant to side drill back into Kuwait or knock out a few rigs to teach Kuwait a lesson, not invade the whole country.

No 82nd Airborne or 24th Mech Inf was ever sent to Syria. Trump cleaned up ISIS in weeks by simply allowing A-10s to BRRRRRt the fuck out of ISIS tanker trucks going into Turkey.

The Gulf of Tonkin was fog of war shit, but it's also true that the Soviets were dumping a shitload of weapons into North Vietnam. You know, this thing called a Cold War where the two sides reacted to each other out whenever one made a move.

"America was built on slavery... and all our wars were evil where we were the aggressor" are the TWO prongs of the demoralization process.

Which is the dombest thing Hitler did. Because a) he wasn't obligated to do so under the Axis pact because Japan attacked America and b) Congress only declared war on Japan.

This is how wars start ...

Iran-Backed Militants Strike US And Coalition Base As Blinken Threatens ‘Decisive’ Response

Secretary of State Antony Blinken pledged to respond rapidly to strikes from Iran-backed militias in defense of U.S. troops as reports emerged of yet another strike on an Iraqi base where American troops are stationed Tuesday.

Since Thursday, militias receiving funding and encouragement from Iran have launched rockets and one-way attack drones at bases housing U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria after a months-long lull. Speaking to the United Nations Security Council, Blinken echoed the Pentagon’s earlier warnings that Iranian proxy militias would seek to escalate attacks in the near future targeting American military personnel, trying to draw the U.S. into a war mushrooming across the region.

“The U.S. does not seek conflict with Iran. We do not want this war to widen. BUT, if Iran or its proxies attack U.S. personnel anywhere, make no mistake: We will defend our people, we will defend our security, swiftly and decisively,” Blinken said.

It ran in one newspaper.

And the reason it didn't run was cowardly Wilson, who refused to act when US Marshalls gave him PROOF of the Kaiser's sabotage, including the testimony of an Irish-born chief groom of a huge stable in NJ who was told to poison the horses by Irish Nationalists paid by the Kaiser, but refused and went to the authorities, preferred to ignore it and asked his fellow Ivy League Fucks running the papers not to run the ad.

However, who the fuck is another state to tell the US when and where we can't run our shipping in international waters? Fuck the Kaiser, he's not the King of the USA. That Hohenzollern needs to mind his own business!

Iran-Backed Militants Strike US And Coalition Base As Blinken Threatens ‘Decisive’ Response

The Biden administration has pressed Israel to delay its imminent invasion of Gaza to allow for the release of more hostages held by Hamas and for aid to reach Gaza, according to two sources briefed on the discussions.

The release of two Americans held by Hamas Friday signaled that more of roughly 200 people believed to be kidnapped by the militant group may be freed after they were taken during the group’s deadly attacks launched against Israel two week ago.

“The [administration] pressed Israeli leadership to delay because of progress on the hostage front,” and the need to get trucks of aid into Gaza, one person familiar with the discussions said.
https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/22/politics/us-israel-ground-incursion-delay/index.html

By the way, not the first time Israel has cancelled or delayed action because of a US request. They did so in Lebanon many times. That's loyalty - to delay or stop revenge against the murder of your own citizens because your Ally asked you to.

And as we've been over 1000 times on this forum, the $3-4B/year is about 3-4% of the Israeli Government Budget (not GDP), so Israel isn't going to disappear tomorrow without it as Bitchute Boyz and Cozy Catamites like Fuentes think.

UK Daily Mail tells readers to get ready for a nuclear war

As concerns grow that a world war could be just around the corner, the UK’s Daily Mail is warning readers to get ready for a nuclear war and providing instructions on surviving.

The fighting in the Middle East is looking increasingly likely to escalate, and with other countries potentially joining the fray, the publication has shared a guide to getting through nuclear fallout. There are currently more than 12,500 nuclear warheads throughout the world.

Dr. Abud Bakri shared a guide for surviving a nuclear war based on his analysis of data from the World Health Organization and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He explained that there are three basic concepts when it comes to survival: the distance from the blast, appropriate shielding, and the length of time of radiation exposure.

Anyone who sez there will be a draft is full of shit they want to pitch to get attention.

Anyone who believes that shit is a bona-fide idiot I would love to sell the SF Bay Bridge to.

Numerous generals and Pentagon white paper studies have consistently said that the US military can not go back to operating with draftees. And one of the reasons why is because the kids of today can't meet the physical requirements needed, amongst other issues.

We would be better off creating our own version of the French Foreign Legion and send them to die.

I think they think they don't need that many infantry grunts or "boots on the ground".

They seemed to be able to meet staffing demands in the last war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Not like they are envisioning an invasion or occupying force of 300,000 Army infantry soldiers, not at least for the next 20 years where the Iraq and Afghanistan wars are still fresh in memories.

In the US, a version of Foreign Legion may well lead to something similar to Mamluk take-over of Egypt (a class of formerly imported slave soldiers taking over a wealthy empire, and lasted multiple centuries). We already had imported German, Italian and Irish immigrants in the 1860's filling the ranks of a newly invented imperial army imposing the start of American Imperialism (aka ACW). At least German, Italian and Irish looked more or less the same as existing population, except for the Catholicism of the latter two groups resulted in them congregating in the big cities resulting in mafia for a few decades before industrialization could absorb the labor and Catholic education movement gave them better opportunities than mafia criminal industries could, leading to integration in the early 20th century. Relying on a culturally and religiously even more different from existing mainstream group as Foreign Legion to be the backbone of the armed forces would only lead to the further subjugation of American people. Voting is only a peaceful proxy of the right and duty to bear arms in a nation/state. Professional military usually leads to the rise of aristocracy; professional military staffed by foreigners, well, that usually means a society ruled by an aristocracy of foreign origins, just like what happened in Mamluk Egypt and in late West Roman Empire.

Zelensky promises to 'cut off' Crimea in 2024

The Russian peninsula will become the conflict’s “center of gravity,” the Ukrainian leader told The Economist

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has predicted that his country's armed forces will "isolate" Crimea in 2024. The region, which joined Russia in 2014 following a bloody nationalist coup in Kiev, hosts Moscow's Black Sea fleet.

Kiev will seek to cut off access to the peninsula by destroying the Kerch bridge, which connects it to the Russian mainland, Zelensky claimed. For this purpose, he once again demanded German-made long-range Taurus cruise missiles, which Berlin has so far refused to supply even after France and the UK provided Kiev with Storm Shadow missiles.

https://www.rt.com/russia/590020-zelensky-crimea-attack-isolate/

If Zelensky makes good on his promise, this would clearly be a major escalation in this limited war. If Russia were to retaliate in the manner that they are capable of, as in leveling Kiev, that could bring a direct military response from the USA and NATO (something Putin has attempted to
avoid). It's not at all inconceivable that this could lead to an all out, nuclear WW III.
