No such thing as a Rockefeller who is a 'regular guy', nor a downtrodden hero. Nelson was a main principle of the 'War On Drugs', which was nothing more than using the American justice system to extradite and imprison Rockefeller competitors in the world drug trade and had nothing to do with keeping drugs out of the country.

Nelson Rockefeller was governor of New York and Vice President for two years with Gerald Ford.
