Drudge Report says 30 counts related to business fraud. So who was harmed by this ? Who got defrauded such as did investors lose money ? Is this a tangible crime or a victimless crime ?

It's basically a technical crime for a private company, the Trump Organization based on the Novel Legal Theory that since Cohen paid for Stormy, and Trump Org paid Cohen for his Legal Services, and Trump Organization did not separate that Expense from Cohen's legal services category on their paperwork, it's somehow 30 counts of malfesance.

What very well might happen is that a bunch of Powerful Private Entities are now going to freak out and run screaming to the DA/DNC to stop it, as it would open them up also to bullshit charges and civil suits.
60   AmericanKulak   2023 Mar 31, 2:31pm

Imagine how many companies just in Manhattan alone paid off 5 or 6 or more figure settlements to disgruntled employees, contractors, etc. and didn't separate it on their filings from "Legal Services" they paid to an Attorney or Law Firm.

What the specifically was the indictment for anyhow? I know he was indicted - FOR WHAT?

I haven't heard yet. Anybody know what the specific charge is?

Worth noting that while we like to laugh at TDS and think it will only mobilize more voters for Trump, which is likely true, the leftoid globalist aren't that stupid. TDS serves a yuge purpose for them. Over the years they were able to foment so much deranged TDS hate, driven by propaganda and lies and infinte help by the lamestream media and big tech, into the leftoids, incl. those in important positions, that they will not come to their common senses but instead basically rubberstamp any and every atrocity against the other team, completely abolishing the rule of law and turning the country into a communist marxist hellhole as desired by their leaders, if it only hurts Trump.

Who is going to try them ? Any trial will would have to be in a Democrat city with a Soros distract attorney and Woke jury.

That means the Soros district attorney (in Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, etc.) in a red state like Texas would have to decide to prosecute the Democrats.

That is never going to happen, or if it does, it will be a show trial, and the Soros DA will do a shitty job and fail to get a conviction, which is especially easy when the jury pool comes from a shithole Democrat metro area.

Look at how Durham has fared trying Democrat political operatives in courts that are within Democrat cities.

If Trump is convicted for having his Private Company list an expense as "Legal Services" for a payout, imagine every company in NYS that ever paid out a disgruntled employee in the past few years and listed it as such.

Any NYS prosecutor with a humbug against a person or company can now run wild.

This is why it won't survive an appeal.

That is why every company is going ESG and Woke. Its protection. Put an Obama era official on the board of directors like Eric Holder. That ensures protection within the Democrat protection racket.

No New York state prosecutor is going to pursue these ESG and Woke companies for the same crimes as they are accusing Trump.

Its an Animal Farm Justice System.

This is a classical Royalist maneuver to get Trump into position for assassination. You can bet those New York courts are loaded with CIA black bag EMP and poison dart weapons if Trump actually shows up. It might also be a good place for Trump military to wipe out a few black hat Deep State assassins under pretense. It'll be the covert ops OK Corral. The ninjas will be dancing and leaping everywhere.

It'd be funny if Trump escapes clean but KommieKunt judges and DA's get taken down in a crossfire. Maybe the offices and courts will be turned to dust by one of those leftover DEW's they used on 9/11.

I loved it on the Law&Order shows, whenever the DAs or the police said: "We can protect you", you knew the guy/gal was dead meat before the program was over.

...

Jade Sacker accompanied John Sullivan into the Capitol building. Sacker claims to be a journalist for CNN and other mainstream media outlets.

She appears to not have been searched or arrested by the FBI, yet Steven Baker has been arrested for doing the same as Sacker.

Baker is a journalist and filmed inside the Capitol building. He stated the DOJ has made threats to him because he has been very vocal recently about the January 6 protest as well as Biden Admin abuses of power.

Is Jade Sacker getting special treatment because she claims to be associated with left wing or mainstream media outlets ?

If yes, then there is no equal justice under the law during the Biden Administration.

Remember the Founding Fathers stated part of the reason for their rebellion was that there was no sense of fairness to the legal system.

There hasn't been equal justice in quite some time. There are actors that constantly overdosed on drugs in the 1980's and 1990's - they never went to jail, why not? They were purchasing illegal drugs. You'd have been fucked if you did that back then.

New York is fucked.
It's going to have crime forever; the federal government created gangster breeding farms, and subsidized hood rats to breed bastard children who grow up to be criminals.
The local government then has to employ an army of cops at huge expense to try to control them.,
Middle class people are taxed to death as they try to avoid being mugged or murdered.
No wonder 50% of NYC is foreign; the New Yorkers escaped.

You know Japan has very low crime rates, and the government actively tries to reduce criminality?

They are in demographic decline, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them as the masters of the world in 1,000 years.

The question of genetics versus culture is not resolved.

I am very well aware there is real systemic racism within the United States. It's FAR easier for a black woman to get onto welfare than for a white woman. If a woman gets knocked up by male A, she gets some amount of money for child care from that man. If she gets knocked up twice by that man, the amount goes up but it doesn't double, but if she is knocked up by male B - it DOES double.

There is an economic incentive for black women to not marry, and to have multiple partners to produce children. I do not believe that racial differences are entirely based on race, I think the government has a heavy hand in this.

There's nothing like that shit in Japan.

We wouldn't have such a crime problem in the US, if we simply prosecuted criminals. Our prisons are torture centers that produce MORE criminality, not less, they are not reform institutions. Seriously, how expensive is it to house a person in a small room for multiple years? How difficult it is it to prevent a visitor from smuggling in a cell phone or a knife? I could seriously more easily smuggle in a phone into a prison than I could onto an airplane - not that I'd have to smuggle a phone onto an airplane.

How difficult is it to track prisoners, to record what is going on, to have video of a murder or a rape in prison? This is TRIVIAL with today's technology. We could have an entirely non violent prison population in which reform is implemented, in which skills are taught, in which even prisoners could be taught to build their own housing, and be productive to wider society at the same time. Just ship them off to the middle of nowhere, and put them to work, what they build they live in. They can be given productive jobs as well. Violent offenders can be segregated, and continually watched.

We could have a prestigious, great society, if we wanted.

Now that former President Trump has officially been indicted, everyone wants to know how this whole ordeal will unfold. Here are the nine things that will be happening next:

Trump will take the best, most beautiful mugshot the world has ever seen - that NFT is going to be YUGE.
The entire NYPD will wait in line to take selfies with him - it's tough being a hated criminal.
Trump will be stripped nude and marched through the city with a pagan priest yelling "shame!" and ringing a bell - pretty standard.
Trump's lawyers will file to dismiss the case on the grounds that a man and his mistress can't be charged with the same crime - checkmate, Alvin!
The judge will then determine Trump's guilt by having him tossed into the Hudson to see if he floats - luckily, Big Macs are pretty buoyant.
Trump will be thrown in jail, where Epstein's prison guards will be called out of retirement for one last mission - uh oh!
Dementors will attempt to suck Trump's life force away, but he will ward them off with a patronus of himself - we hear it takes the shape of a buffalo.
Trump will escape prison by slowly tunneling his way out behind a poster of Stormy Daniels - brilliant.
Every other politician will also be arrested for their crimes - hahahaha just kidding!

Apparently, not as low as one might think. The Japanese have a more compartmentalized system, with the criminal elements part of the governance. When somebody avails themselves of the services of the criminal government, the standard government will barely if at all protect them, as long as the criminal elements stay in their lane.

There are stories of Yakuza chasing citizens in the street, and the police just acting as if nothing is happening. The system seems to acknowledge that crime provides services to wayward citizens, but they are then subject to laws of the criminal jungle by their own accord and are kind of self fucked.

Maybe so and while that ain't right it's better than leftoid lawlessness. Similar to the Mafia regulating their turf in Italy. Is it wrong? Yes. Is it better than a horde of joggers descending on the country, robbing and looting (and killing) everyone, raping their daugters (and like trans fucks desecrating 100s of years of Christian decency and traditions), except for the corrupt leftoid traitor politicians who get private security on taxpayer dime? He can't talk about case specifics. It's a gray area, especially in this case. But he can still campaign. He'll just say stuff like "you know what they're doing to me, you've seen, it's the worst I've seen ever and it will tear the country apart." As long as he doesn't mention the indictment or case I think he's fine.

This is quite possibly the dumbest thing Dems could have done. ALL Dem House Reps are shitting their pants right now. I don't know what Senators are up for reelection, but this could turn into a bloodbath.

We'll see what the charges are, but it seems like a charge for accounting for too many meals with clients for yourself type charge. Which is usually just a fine and you move on. If he paid Cohen for any other legal fees in that tax year the whole thing is dead in the water. Trump doesn't do his own taxes, the accountant likely signed them. They have E&O insurance.

If there's $120k to Cohen and that was it, from campaign funds, then it gets tricky. It's all about what he paid Cohen overall during a specific timeline really and when. If there's $200k on the ledger to Cohen, then this is probably over pretty quickly. Bragg probably doesn't have all the info that a trial would bring and he likely is ending his career. But will sell a book or become an analyst. These people aren't as stupid as they seem.

You may be right. I've not been to Japan, but I listen to people who are expats in that area. It's an orderly, crime free area, according to them.

There's a guy that hangs out in front of the store I go to that is homeless, he's a aggressive, abusive, black man who has repeatedly threatened me and other people. He is terribly racist. Such a thing is unheard of in Japan. Such a man would be arrested and removed in Japan from my understanding.

Mafia control in Japan is not unexpected, we have mafia control here, but to a far lesser extent. Organized crime is probably better than disorganized crime.

Not a joke, my BIL would just deck bums that came up to him in Chicago if they were harassing and threatening him.

At the end of the day these are mentally ill people and the cops aren't going to care or do anything about it. If anything they appreciate it if you put them to sleep and it's one less call they have to deal with about the guy fucking with people. Just make sure not to kill him is the only caveat, which is unpredictable depending how they fall unless you grab the shirt during the punch. Not advice, but if it is constant it's an option.

At some point with defund the police shit, citizens just need to take things into their own hands. Worst case is a misdemeanor battery charge. Basically a traffic ticket. Just will show up on your record and depending on employer that might impact that. I don't think a cop would charge you though. They likely have met the guy multiple times if it's a constant barrage every time you go to the store.

https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/hows-that-war-going/

This degenerate wickedness has been escalating since one Donald Trump stepped onstage years ago. The “Joe Biden” regime affects to have trapped him finally in the lair of Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. Now the game gets interesting. Since the charges are the sheerest vapor, the actual aim of this prosecution, as Tom Luongo and Martin Armstrong point out, is to goad Mr. Trump into a civil contempt citation that will allow the New York authorities to lock him up. The judge in the case will impose a gag order on Mr. Trump speaking out about the proceedings against him, and when he opens his yap — as he is certain to do — they’ll throw a net around him and drag him off to the hoosegow, and try to keep him there indefinitely, as they kept the Jan 6 suspects in the DC jail. That is, if the Bragg operation in New York City can extract the former president from the state of Florida, which may not be so easy, now that Governor DeSantis has indicated a disinclination to allow it.

As to the case itself, a judge with any self-respect would toss it in a pre-trial hearing like a six-day-dead carp at the slightest prompting by a defense attorney — based, as it is, on multiple specious novelties of criminal law, not to mention being well beyond the statute of limitations. If it can actually get to trial, the prosecution will be a jurisprudential joke for the ages. If they get a Big Apple jury to go along with the joke, it will be short-listed through the appeals process clean up to the Supreme Court in a New York minute.

And if that whole thing falls apart like the janky jenga tower it is, there are two other cases in the wings — the bullshit case in Fulton County, Georgia, where the grand jury process was already compromised by a jury fore-person, self-identified as a “witch,” shooting her mouth off to the press; and the operation out of the DC Federal District run by one Special Counsel Jack Smith in the Mar-a-Lago classified papers matter — another loser case, considering all the other high officials currently entangled in similar complaints, as yet unmolested by any official charges.

Sound like a plan? Yes, it sounds like a plan to foment a civil war. Especially considering all the other crap our country is being subjected to by a bureaucracy-gone-wild, the regime fronting for it, and its legions of mentally ill useful idiots disturbing the peace all over the land. Probably more than half of the people in our country realize that the legal system has been hijacked by the same rogues who infiltrated social media and the state boards of election. They are getting good and goddam sick of it, along with all the mental twerkery around transgenderism, race hustling, climate change, and Ukraine. I’m sure it means we’re in for a thrilling spring and summer.
