This kind of thing probably repeats itself over and over--it's one of the delusions of the left that they simply can't shake. A very similar incident happened in Dallas back in I think the late 80's. A wealthy family named Roosevelt, descended from THOSE Roosevelts, lived in far north Dallas in the lap of luxury, swimming pool and all. Staunch Democrats, I'm sure they saw themselves as the much appreciated benefactors of those less fortunate, especially in South Dallas. Through whatever circumstances, a 16 year old black male from the projects became a regular visitor on their premises, given use of the pool and treated more or less like an equal of the rest of the family. However, Mrs. Roosevelt was told to never let herself find herself alone with him, such as on the ten plus miles trip back to his home in the projects down S. Hampton Road. However, on this day she didn't have anyone else to accompany them, least of all another male, so she decided it would be OK to take him with just the two of them in the Suburban. Somewhere along the way, he attacked her to the extent she was hospitalized for over a month, hovering between life and death before finally recovering. I'm sure she held no ill feelings towards him, though, that would have been RAYCIST and judgmental.
