Across the redneck nation there are calls for a new official beer of Rural America. Butwiper really dropped the ball and screwed the pooch on this one.
I suggest Becks or St Paulie Girl, as both of those are under $12 a 12 pack these days. Where has Butwiper has been pushing the boundaries to how much they could charge for their Cultural Grog. I wouldn't mind seeing Shiner Boc become a huge national brand with a wider distribution than it currently has. Though when I do find it at the Publix here in South Florida, it's around $10.99 or more, for a 6pack. Even Guiness is a dollar cheaper than that on average.

I heard some chime in telling everyone to support their local craft beer brewers. I have never EVER had one single beer from a craft brewer that tasted anything like a old traditional beer recipe. And that's very important to me. I don't want off tastes, and hints of herbs, berries, citrus, or your Xer's vag yeast. Whart ever the fuck they put in there!

The problem I have with local craft beers, they have no respect for the traditional tried and true methods, and just brew a proper Lager, Pilsner, Ale, or Stout. They always have some untraditional ingredients in there, that makes it taste like crap, while they give a cute flavor name, which taste nothing like they suggest. Plus you can factor a good 40% of the cost of their beer goes into their packaging and marketing efforts. They claim they are craft beers, but they are trying like hell to be a major distributor at the expense of not focusing on a product worthy of such hullabaloo. And if I'm at a one more party and there's nothing left in the beer cooler but 9 seltzer fizzy beer, or sour IPAs in the cooler. I'm going loose my mind. Who brings these nasty beers, then proceeds to drink the hosts honest real beers? Nobody likes your soda beer, and IPA leave that crap at home. Who ever is doing that!

You do not hurt a musician by throwing out CDs. You hurt them buy selling those CDs dirt cheap to cut into the musician's new sales.

Why would anyone ever want to listen to Garth Brooks again after he turned his back on his fans?

Garth is a fucking idiot to the max. Even if you wanted to, you needed to be vaccinated if you wanted to see a show of his. He's a scumbag with trash music.

Anyone that thinks pop musicians whether it be country, rock or rap are writing their own tunes and producing them are a common retard. Garth hasn't written an original song to himself outside of maybe his first album, if that. They find people with pretty faces, personality and average voices. It's sales 101. Most people don't get what the music industry is.

It's marketing and sales. There's no talent outside of a few exceptions.

NASHVILLE, TN — In a surprising twist, legendary country music star Garth Brooks has announced that his new bar will in fact be a gay bar, as they will be serving Bud Light.

"There are plenty of other straight bars you can go to, but at my bar, we will serve an endless supply of Bud Light!" said Garth Brooks sporting a glittery rainbow cowboy hat and rhinestone studded chaps. "So if you wanna go where the whiskey drowns and the Bud Light chases your blues away then come on down to the 'Friends In Low Places' bar.

According to sources, the bar features unlimited Bud Light on tap, glitter raining down from the rafters, and mechanical bedazzled unicorn riding. As patrons took to the dance floor, gay couples swung, twirled, and twerked to the melodies of classic Garth Brooks tunes mixed with pulsating nightclub beats.

"We take PRIDE in opening such a quality gay bar!" added Garth Brooks while serving another pitcher of ice-cold Bud Light. "Our motto is we'll serve any beer and we don't care if it's queer!"

Many, longtime fans of Brooks arrived at the bar to try and give it a shot only to realize all his old songs were blasting reimagined as gay banger anthems. The hit songs included reworked classics now called "The Thunder Rolls (With Pride)", "Unapologetically Queer", "Ain't Going Back (To The Closet)", and of course "Friends In Rainbow Places."

At publishing time, Garth Brooks had also announced that children will get in free at his 'Friends in Low Places' bar on Drag Queen Night.
285   WookieMan   2023 Jun 15, 1:44pm

Lol. Isn't it known that he's gay? His music sucks. He mandated Covid vaccines at the Ryman in Nashville and the next night we saw a prog rock band, no vaccine required. I would have actually gone just to say I saw him, but it was $250/ticket and didn't have my fake card at that time. He's a cunt.

It's not a very good beer in my opinion. Not terrible, but there's a lot of superior beers. No loss.

There are lots of fine beers, just pick something up at random and find out.

I'm drinking Fall River Widowmaker, which apparently is a Double India Pale Ale. Small no-name brands are generally much better than any national advertised brand. They exist because of their superiority, not marketing. We need to train people to ignore marketing so that the best actually wins, not the most expertly marketed wins.

The loss is the brewing style if no one else has picked it up. I'll pick some up next time I'm out, should try it at least once.

One of the most incredible beers I ever had was Hakim Stout - it was produced in Ethopia, and was SMUGGLED into the United States. They had some sort of agreement with Guinness not to export - eventually they went out of business. Another incredible beer I had was brewed with tea - it was delicious, but THEY went out of business as well. I don't recall the name. I used to drink Cafrees which is no longer produced, it's a very light pilsner that is carbonated with NO2, instead of CO2 - so it has the same mouth feel as Guinness.

Try the random bullshit - sometimes you regret it, sometimes you are amazed at how excellent it is.

It's like food - never go to a national chain, go to a hole in the wall mom and pop shop and try it. Sometimes it's not that great, but sometimes it's incredible.

Taco Bell is no competition for any little mom and pop shops in my area. I'm amazed it exists at all yet television makes it exist. It's like pizza, a nice little place called Vito's Famous Pizza went under:

https://goo.gl/maps/bKmRUhYJgkocdMp76

But Round Table, Mountain Mikes, and Caesar's still exist. They are just as expensive and far lower quality. They are "ok", but for the same price you can get something much better. I hate television - anything advertised on it, you should seriously boycott.

Finally, yesterday Governor DeSantis announced that the State of Florida, which is a significant investor in beer giant Anheuser-Busch, will now investigate the woke corporation for mismanagement that breached the company’s duties to shareholders and injured the state’s investment portfolio.

Budweiser’s “going broke” phase may have only just begun.
302   Tenpoundbass   2023 Jul 24, 8:51am

I am convinced that InBev corporate execs initiated the move.. .
I can see the board meeting playing out like a Corporation version of the Producers .

We need a marketing campaign so hideous people will swear off Bud Light. Sir I think we have the idea Woke Nut Job idiot, hear me out sir....

That's Perfect! And I love the Can, how can this fail?

I mean think about it, you have all of these brands you own under your portfolio of beers. .All of these other brands all have production and marketing cost.
Then you've got this other beer brand, that 90% of the beers drank in bars and sporting events in America is Bud Light..
You would want to sabotage that one brand to give the other brands a better chance. Even if it means the eventual shuttering of that brand.
They like to say Modello is now the beer of choice, but that's not what I'm seeing at all. What I'm finding now, is people are drinking the whole beer spectrum from the cooler. There isn't any one supreme beer. It used to be when you went somewhere people were drinking beer, most every bottle on the table, bar, and counter was a Bud Light bottle. It would have been hard to sneak in some other brand, because the bar staff would know they didn't sell anything but Bud Light through out the night. Now you look across the room, you see Heineken, Stela Atios, Natural Light, Yuengling and just on and on. I don't ever remember ever being in a bar, and there not being a prevailing beer..
While it is hurting their stock price, I bet their operation costs and the ret\urns on those other brands, are record breaking sales.

Most people have limited their protest to the Budweiser Brand excusivly and mostly Bud Light particularly. A lot of folks are still drinking InBev brands, but a lot of other brands as well..

I think when the Bud Light dust up settles, InBev will be a stronger company for it, when their other brands are carrying their own weight.

After more than two decades as America’s best-selling beer, Bud Light has slipped into second place.

Modelo Especial, a Mexican lager, overtook Bud Light in U.S. retail dollar sales in the month ending June 3, according to Nielsen data analyzed by Bump Williams Consulting. Modelo controlled 8.4% of U.S. grocery, convenience and liquor store sales; Bud Light fell to 7.3%.

Grupo Modelo, the Mexican brewer, is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, the same parent company of Bud Light.

NOT true. The reporting is literally wrong as US distribution rights belong to Constellation Brands.

Constellation Brands owns the brewery in Mexico and imports to the US.
The transaction establishes Crown as a fully owned entity of Constellation, and provides Constellation with independent brewing operations, Modelo's full profit stream from all U.S. sales, and rights in perpetuity to the Grupo Modelo brands distributed by Crown in the U.S.
306   NuttBoxer   2023 Sep 8, 1:28pm

You never addressed my reply and explained why a company who lost a suit is still advertising the beer on their website. Apparently ABinBev just loves to freely promote products from which they derive zero income..? I think not.
307   EBGuy   2023 Sep 8, 1:53pm

AB InBev owns Grupo Modelo and has distribution rights everywhere -- except the United States. The Justice Department literally forced AB InBev to sell the Piedras Negras Brewery. To the extent that Constellation is successful with the Modelo Brands in the United States, it does helpsAB InBev with their worldwide Modelo brand. All (?) articles posted have referred to US sales, which are the domain of Constellation.

Justice Department Reaches Settlement with Anheuser-Busch InBev and Grupo Modelo in Beer Case
Friday, April 19, 2013
Office of Public Affairs
Divestitures of Piedras Negras Brewery, Perpetual Licenses to Modelo Beer Brands, and Other Assets Will Maintain Competition in the Beer Industry Nationwide

WASHINGTON – The Department of Justice announced today that it has reached a settlement with Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV (ABI) and Grupo Modelo S.A.B. de C.V. that requires the companies to divest Modelo’s entire U.S. business – including licenses of Modelo brand beers, its most advanced brewery, Piedras Negras, its interest in Crown Imports LLC and other assets – to Constellation Brands Inc., in order to go forward with their merger. The department said the proposed settlement will maintain competition in the beer industry nationwide, benefitting consumers.
Today’s proposed settlement was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. If approved by the court, the settlement will resolve the department’s competitive concerns.
On Jan. 31, 2013, the department filed an antitrust lawsuit against ABI and Modelo alleging that ABI’s $20.1 billion acquisition of the remaining interest in Modelo that ABI did not already own, as originally proposed, would substantially lessen competition in the market for beer in the United States as a whole and in at least 26 metropolitan areas across the United States. The department alleged that the transaction would result in consumers paying more for beer and would limit innovation in the beer market.

I stand corrected. But I think you'll understand if I'm skeptical of government who's breakup of Standard Oil significantly increased Rockefeller's wealth while divesting him of a toxic brand.
If people pay more for piss-beer I think that's there decision. The market share of micro-brews has steadily increased over the years, so this ruling is incredibly naive, unless, like with Standard, there are other reasons...

BTW, can you guess who the top shareholder is at Constellation? See my recent Blackrock comment(but it's not them)..

Old comment. Try beers out. Find the one you like. I picked mine and have never been hung over after a long night. Staying consistent with one product does you well instead of jumping around. We used to save and cut out the side of the 6 pack of bottles and hang it to the wall. My former buddy (leftie) still has them. 600+ beers I've tried. Still will try new stuff occasionally. I prefer what I know. The trial days are over for me.

Yet Trump is choosing right now, right before the election to forgive and essentially embrace the tranny issue? Even using Bruce??? Has Bud Light actually come out and apologized, or are they just throwing money around buying politicians?

Thing is no one cares. Bud can just make less product at the same margins and fire people or lay them off. And if you didn't drink it in the the first place who cares? By giving it attention at all, you give them business.

I never have, but I'd go to a drag show to laugh at the mentally disabled people. It is funny. Trans people are mentally disabled and they don't know it. That's like compounding interest on stupidity. Makes me laugh. I'm confident enough in myself to know what I'm going to. It's retards putting on comedy. Have some beers/drinks and laugh at them... not with them.
