This is important. Much media is aimed at audience much younger than they claim to be for.

One reason MTV started sucking is that at first, their audience was supposed to be 17-25, college/young adult. Then, in the 90s, they began producing content deliberately for teenyboppers, and that's how advertising on MTV was sold to corporations.

Before the rivalry game against Michigan began, the image appeared on the jumbotron as part of a trivia question about Hitler's place of birth.

Had they put an image of China's devil incarnate Mao Tse Tung, history's worst mass murder by far, there wouldn't have been even a mention of it. Same goes for history's 2nd. worst mass murderer Joseph Stalin.
