One alternative to wokeness is a recognition of family as the basis of society, not markets. Genealogy gives you a set of people you are connected to by history and known genetic relation, and this provides a sense of belonging and meaning.

I think genealogy is therefore one cure for wokeness, especially since it is concerned solely with which heterosexual couples had children. Gay and trans play no role in genealogy whatsoever, because they are evolutionary dead ends. Wokeness is a symptom of rootlessness and lack of belonging caused by global capitalism.

Genealogy is inherently patriarchal, because people are grouped by their surnames, which are paternally inherited. Good! People with a common surname and known descent from a common male ancestor feel more related to each other because of that common name and known relationship.

And nature itself works that way. Every man with a common male ancestor shares an almost-identical Y chromosome, while the other chromosomes all vary a lot between generations. The degree of Y-chromosome similarity also functions as a clock, showing the time since common ancestor. And best of all, the relationship can be proven by a genetic test. It's not just "cultural". It's real, giving people something real to hold on to.

Women function as the links between male lines of descent, joining the different families together. This was central to history, as alliances were made on the basis of marriage.
