In modern times, since it purged its last “Blue Dog” Democrats from the party decades ago, the Donkey Party has been best known for its slavish homogeneity. Besides a brief Bernie flareup a few years back, intra-party conflict is nearly unknown to Democrats.
But now, suddenly, intra-party conflict is stratospheric.
The Democrats’ worst-case scenario —which they have been calling a “doom loop”— is a highly-public and legally questionable battle to remove President Cabbage from office under the 25th Amendment. They had a piece of political kryptonite — the deposition audio that convinced Special Prosecutor Robert Hur that the Generic Vegetable is mentally unfit to be tried. But they buried that audio under sixteen layers of classification, and maybe only Biden can now unclassify it.
In any case, we are witnessing a special, once-in-a-lifetime kind of irony. Books will be written about this. For far too long —longer than I’ve been paying attention— the United States perfected an evil, grotesque strategy of slyly undermining foreign governments through what are euphemistically called “color revolutions,” which involve using media to inflame political differences until the country destroys itself, shattering into a million bloodstained pieces, and letting a deep-state tool take over.
Coincidentally, the CIA’s color revolution strategy was perfected in the 2014 Maiden Revolution in Ukraine ...
The point is, a color revolution is now being waged against President Starfruit and thus, against the United States government. It is literally the same kind of revolution the neocons waged against the democratically elected government of Ukraine in 2014.
Yesterday, Insider Paper claimed that the Clintons have joined Team Biden against the Allied Anti-Cabbage forces:
Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton have privately been
supportive of Biden's decision to stay in the race
and have been actively encouraging donors to stay
with him
This news provoked a series of wild online conjectures that Hillary Clinton will become the Democrats’ next nominee, which could only happen over President Obama’s dead body. But Hillary already lost to Trump once, so why bother?
A coalition of forces is emerging: Team Clinton versus Team Obama. Who should we root for?
Lol, a civil war between Obama and Shrillary would be very entertaining.
look around at all these movements and how they spiral into ever accelerating outrages and assaults. it’s not an accident nor even a strategy, it’s an unavoidable emergent property of rule by moral relativism and misguided empathy and guilt manifesting as deference to the damaged and dangerous.
once you tell people that being reviled by society means status and virtue, you’ve created the most adverse of selectors and the only way to turn it off is to stop lionizing this performative aristocracy of the most addled and performatively demanding.
they won’t get better or mature or learn to heal themselves, these are children who are being given not only cookies but the keys to the kingdom every time they burn the house down.
empathy and elevation does not aid these people. it’s pathology fertilizer.
mistaking this for “helping” is not a mistake a society can long survive.
the good news is that this sort of pathocracy cannot survive either.
past a point, its embedded need to double down over and over again rapidly makes it ostentatiously insane to the point of being unrecognizable to reasonable people and the spell shatters. the perpetrators and aficionados of these debacles rarify to the degree where they have no idea how far gone and how far out of step they have become.
it goes one exponential too far and the whole thing becomes unmistakable garbage, bereft of mission, message, or meaning. it’s just a contest to be the most odious and conspicuous outlier.
and we’re there. right now.
you wake up one day, and this is the opening ceremony for the olympics and suddenly pretty much everyone simply says “nah.”
“Any person who files nomination papers and qualifies to appear on the ballot may not decline nomination,” Wisconsin law reads. “The name of that person shall appear upon the ballot except in case of death of the person.”

For the survival of humanity, it is imperative that the Democratic Party be split. What are the wedge issues that would do this most effectively?
One that pops to mind is Israel. A lot of Democrats hate Israel and are for the Palestinians, but most Jews are Democrats.
So a rational person wanting humanity to survive the devastation of Democrat rule would find a way to increase this split. How might that be done?
