I have switched to filtered water for all drinking for about a week. Goodbye flouride and chlorine and all the other alleged stuff.
So far, seems a bit better. I'll know more after about a month or two.

We used to consume 300% more iodine than today; also people ate more fish and shellfish.
Iodine was a common supplement people took, doctors would give it to patients at checkups.
It's been leached out of the soil and no longer in many foods; it's also possible seed oils interfere with it's uptake.
It's crucial in hormone production and homeostasis.
I'm going to start taking iodine at 1950s levels shortly, we'll let you know how it goes.
