Let him stay in jail. I worry there will be some vigilante (government assassin) that tries to kill him given they know what jail he's in. They'll blame it on Trump and radical far right gun owners. If he's locked up and something happens we all know how that works out.... you get away with it.

He needs to go, as in leave the country, but he's probably making the best decision even though there's no bail. Just stay in generally the most secure place he could be. Given the notoriety of the situation he's probably separated from the general jail population. There are right wing nut bags out there that want to see him gone as in dead. Not as common as someone like the United Health Care CEO killing, but they're out there on the right. Right is just more disciplined with guns 98% of the time.

Guns are for defense, hunting and fun. Defense being the first. Not attacking for no reason. The right doesn't want to lose that freedom.
