Once again corporate media completely ignored yesterday’s biggest story, instead doing its level best to smother it by rapidly pushing out explosive fake news stories, assisted by the DoJ, which is currently trying to indict everybody it can, including most famously President Trump.

The story was, in an electrifying floor address yesterday, U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley dramatically informed Congress that the document the FBI has been diligently concealing reported that its confidential source has SEVENTEEN recordings of bribery phone calls between the Burisma executive and Joe and Hunter Biden.

Grassley wondered why nobody followed up, say, to try and get ahold of those recordings, or even mention them to anybody? In his statement, Grassley pointed out it’s not like the FBI has been shy about presidential audio recordings:

It’s clear that the Justice Department and FBI will use every resource to investigate candidate Trump, President Trump and former President Trump [and] it’s clear that the Justice Department, the FBI, haven’t nearly had the same laser-focus on the Biden family. Special counsel Jack Smith has used a recording against former president Trump. Well, what is US Attorney Weiss doing with respect to these alleged Joe and Hunter Biden recordings that are apparently relevant to the high-stakes bribery scheme?

Grassley revealed that, even after the FBI agreed to show the Oversight Committee a copy of its Biden Bribery form, all references on the form to the recordings were redacted. In other words, the FBI literally covered up the recordings’ existence — even though the document had already been unclassified.

Senator Grassley also seems to think, as I do, there’s some connection between the timing of President Trump’s bogus indictment and the nation-shaking Biden Bribery story:

And on the same day that the FBI provided a redacted version of the 1023 to the House Oversight Committee, the Justice Department announced that former President Trump had been indicted and charged with 37 crimes relating to his alleged mishandling of classified records.
Here’s the link to Grassley’s statement, including the transcript and the video:

During a remarkable discussion this weekend on Jake Tapper’s CNN show, the celebrated anchor first surprised his viewers by correctly reporting that Hunter Biden did in fact somehow earn sketchy millions — “substantial sums” — from Ukrainian and Chinese sources. Tapper left unsaid, but painfully obvious, that nobody still knows what Hunter supposedly got paid for, exactly.

Maybe someday, someone will ask the Bidens that question.

https://twitter.com/RaheemKassam/status/1692588965121913081

Next, Tapper shocked CNN’s lefty viewers even more, when he correctly pointed out that, during the 2016 Trump-Biden debates, Biden firmly but falsely said “my son has NOT made money, in terms of this thing about, what you’re talking about, China … that’s NOT true.”

Biden clearly lied and did not make a mistake. Bob Peters, I mean Joe, didn’t say “I don’t know whether Hunter is getting paid by the Chinese.” Instead he said, “that’s not true.” While one of Tapper’s co-anchors gamely tossed out the prepackaged defense that “nothing connects Hunter’s money to Biden,” he protested too much. Tapper hadn’t yet accused Hunter of doing anything illegal that could be connected to Biden. So nobody else on the panel touched the premature defense, and it ingloriously died on the table.

That was good enough, but I almost coughed up a hairball when Tapper bluntly told the shocked panelists, “I mean … Trump was right.” That’s probably as much vindication as the former President will ever get. Trump should use it in a campaign commercial or something.

First up is a remarkable story from the UK Daily Mail yesterday, featuring the typical extended headline: “Fired Ukrainian prosecutor Shokin says Joe and Hunter Biden DID take BRIBES - and were behind his ousting: 'Isn't that corruption alone?' he says in preview of bombshell interview.”

I’ve been sneering contemptuously at U.S. Establishment Media for ages over the fact they seem to be totally unaware of former Ukranian Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin, the guy Biden blackmailed Ukraine into firing, the guy who’d been investigating Burisma and the Bidens, the guy who’d just locked down all Burisma’s assets — while Hunter was on the board — when “Big Guy” Joe Biden got involved. Shokin is sort of at the center of everything, but U.S. Establishment Media couldn’t find the special prosecutor if he had bells on.

But finally someone has found Viktor, and apparently he’s talking a blue streak. The Daily Mail reported that tonight at 8pm Fox News will air “an explosive interview” with Shokin, in which the former prosecutor-general will claim that Joe and Hunter Biden were 'corrupt,’ that they accepted large cash bribes from Burisma, and were behind his firing.

Sounds about right. Quid pro quo, Joe. Drip, drip.

“I do not want to deal in unproven facts. But my firm personal conviction is that yes, this was the case. They were being bribed," Shokin explained in Fox’s preview clip. Shokin would know.

Back in 2018, two years after Shokin’s sudden and unexpected firing, Biden bragged that he told Ukraine he would personally withhold a billion dollars in U.S. aid if the Ukrainians failed to immediately fire Shokin. “I looked at them and said, 'I'm leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you're not getting the money,’” Biden boasted.

“Well, son of a bitch. He got fired,” the former vice-president continued, chortling merrily.

Biden’s probably not laughing so hard now.

As I said, at that the time Joe blackmailed Ukraine, Hunter was collecting a sweet million dollars a year for doing nothing on Burisma’s hastily-created “board of directors.” Why Hunter Biden would even be qualified for a fake board seat on a Ukrainian energy company being investigated for corruption remains a perplexing mystery. To some people.

The Daily Mail article also described details about Devon Archer’s recent Congressional testimony, in which the former Hunter business partner described “business” meetings with shady foreign oligarchs, in which Joe Biden got on the phone, after which millions of dollars flowed into Hunter’s various sham companies.

The cries of “no evidence” are sounding more and more like distant echoes down liberal canyon. There is already more evidence to indict Joe Biden on a container-load of crimes than the entire collection of “evidence” from four cases against Trump. So.

Oh, Biden is laughing even harder. He knows nothing will come of this.

Hunter Biden’s firm, Joe’s VP office exchanged more than 1,000 emails...

“These records provide even more evidence that no daylight existed between Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings and the Office of the Vice President during the Obama Administration,” Gene Hamilton, America First Legal vice president and general counsel, said in a statement.

“The evidence accumulating against the Biden family’s malfeasance is staggering. We will continue to put the pieces of this puzzle together and expose the truth to the American people,” he added.

“Joe Biden” has LARPed his way to the final act of his performance. The evidence of his high crimes, and the covering-up of those high crimes by our lawless law officialdom, is piled high enough to eject him into the swales of infamy. We know exactly how the Ukraine grift went down — the documentation is stark and florid — as is the rest of family’s bribery operations in other lands not necessarily friendly to our own land. So, add treason to bribery and there you have the complete kit of perfidious treachery against the nation.

Shocking emails reveal Hunter Biden helped coordinate a plan with Democrat strategists to 'close down any cases' against the owner of allegedly corrupt Ukrainian gas firm Burisma and 'gain intelligence' on the country's top prosecutor's office.

The emails bolster claims by ex-Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin that the First Son and his then-Vice President dad conspired to kill Shokin's criminal investigation of Burisma.

Last weekend Fox News broadcast an interview with Shokin, where he repeated his previous allegations that Joe Biden got him fired over his Burisma probe.

Emails obtained by DailyMail.com from Hunter's abandoned laptop lay bare how the First Son was involved in Burisma's attempts to thwart law enforcement looking into its alleged corruption.

Joe Biden Met with Foreign Bank Official & Hunter’s Business Partner, Testimony Alleges

Democrat President Joe Biden held a meeting in 2015 with a foreign bank official and his son Hunter’s business partner to discuss expanding deals in Kazakhstan, a key testimony has alleged.

Then-Vice President Biden allegedly discussed expanding his family’s overseas influence-peddling business deals during an in-person meeting at his Washington, D.C., mansion in 2015.

Also in the meeting was Hunter Biden, former Burisma board member Devon Archer, and a Kazakhstan banker

I thought setting up LLCs for bribes and offshore accounts was the first thing they taught them when they landed in the foreign occupied foreign city state of Washington DC. You aren't a proper Roman Law politician without having all your bribery schema in place. Guess he just loved having his greedy sausage fingers directly on the loot.

I recall Andrew Gillum's bribery charges were easily proven. But the Tallahassee jury was divided on this so it was a hung trial.

Why ? Because there were enough Democrats on that jury who engaged in jury nullification, just like the case for John Edward's trial.

That is why I am skeptical even if Hunter Biden goes to trial, its going to be in a city where the jury pool will have enough Democrats to acquit him or it will be a hung jury. And the DOJ will decide to not pursue another trial just like they did with John Edwards and Andrew Gillum.

Some folks speculated that Judge Engoran’s decision was published yesterday on purpose to obscure all the breaking news in the various Biden cases. I don’t know about that, but it wasn’t a good day for President Robert L. Peters. First, ABC News broke a story yesterday claiming that the Biden Classified Document case — where tons of classified documents were found in various Biden properties, including his garage — is mushrooming into a “sprawling investigation.”

... But that’s not all! Yesterday in the developing Biden Bribery case, House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) announced that Joe Biden's Delaware home address was listed as the recipient on two large wire transfers paid to Hunter Biden from shady Chinese operators, while Joe was the Vice President.

Comer said the House also has bank records confirming those wire transfers.

This new evidence was released two days before the first hearing in the House Impeachment Inquiry begins tomorrow.

I don’t care how you slice it. For people whining there was “no evidence” linking Joe Biden to the unexplained payments to Hunter, here it is. Evidence. Get ready for the shift to “it wasn’t that bad.”

“The statement that “Joe Biden wasn’t involved in Hunter Biden’s business,” is absurd in its face. Joe Biden was Hunter Biden’s business.” —Margot Cleveland

... There’s reason to be discouraged that the people we elect can bring the two great issues of the moment — the blob’s budget and the impeachment of “Joe Biden” — to satisfactory conclusions. They are arguably pseudopods of that very blob, whose very existence is being threatened now, and they have to worry about their shots at becoming multi-millionaires, too. The weeks ahead will inform us if there’s anything that can be salvaged of our federal government or whether we must make other arrangements.

I won’t bore you with the details of the democrats’ comedic shenanigans and the Republicans’ short opening presentation of evidence. It was more interesting to watch the narrative shifting in real time. Instead of parroting the original mantra of “no evidence,” NPR has moved on to Adjective City, now claiming Republicans haven’t presented “clear evidence” of bribery, or “impeachable evidence” of bribery, or “concrete evidence” of bribery.

In other words, they are admitting there’s evidence.

All of NPR’s weaselly adjectives modifying the word ‘evidence’ are just NPR’s opinion, not news. Either the Republicans presented evidence or they didn’t. And apparently, they did. The Republicans even admitted during the hearing that they are still seeking more evidence than the thousands of pages of emails, texts, and bank records they already have, which is what justified the impeachment inquiry in the first place.

NPR did accurately quote Constitutional expert and Professor Jonathan Turley:

“I do believe that the House has passed the threshold for an impeachment inquiry into the conduct of President Biden. In the current impeachment inquiry, the House has proceeded correctly, in my view, by taking this step only after months of preliminary investigations into the alleged corruption scandal involving the President and his family. Indeed, a majority of the public reportedly favor this impeachment inquiry on that very ground.”

NPR didn’t quote Committee Chairman James Comer’s cogent summary:

“We have established in the first phase of this investigation where this money has come from: Ukraine, Romania, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, it didn’t come from selling anything legitimate…it was funneled through shell companies and third parties to hide the Biden’s fingerprints. This deserves investigation, this deserves accountability, the American people expect this Committee to investigate public corruption…the witnesses today have all identified the evidence the Committee has uncovered as deserving further inquiry. And that is what this Committee will do, no matter where the evidence leads.”

It is a well-established legal principle that evidence of an attempt to conceal something is also evidence of consciousness of guilt. So.

During this first hearing, the Oversight Committee: presented evidence of more than 20 shady, unexplained shell companies created by the Bidens and their allies, presented direct evidence of Biden family members raking in over $24 million dollars from China, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, and other antagonistic foreign countries, identified nine different members of Biden’s extended family who have joined in or benefited from the various unorthodox business schemes, and confirmed that Joe Biden interacted with his family’s business associates in the deals at least two dozen times.

Under any standard, that is evidence. It’s a LOT of evidence. And this is only the beginning. Cue President Newsom, I mean Governor Newsom, to the rescue. The script writes itself: Now that Biden is no longer president, what’s the point?

Congressional scholar and legal impeachment expert Jonathan Turley wrote a great Substack, re-published in the Hill of all places, about the Biden Bribery case. It was headlined, The Biden Family Tree: How Investigations are Exposing the Bidens’ Influence-Peddling Dynasty

https://jonathanturley.org/2023/10/09/the-biden-family-tree-how-investigations-are-exposing-the-bidens-influence-peddling-dynasty/

Turley pointed out that newly released evidence from the House Ways and Means Committee reveals at least nine Biden family members benefitted from over $20 million dollars coming from 23 separate countries on four continents. It was a worldwide brand with only one product: Senator then Vice-President Joe Biden.

Hunter’s China Deal Associate Played Golf with Joe Biden Up to ‘Twelve Times,’ FBI Docs Show

Democrat President Joe Biden played golf up to “twelve times” with his son’s business association a shady deal with Chinese oligarchs, FBI documents have revealed.

Hunter Biden’s former business associate Rob Walker told agents about the close relationship in a December 2020 transcribed interview with the FBI.

As part of the business arrangement, Walker wired money from China to the bank accounts of Biden family members.
