Fire blazed for days before it got to the town, no response.
Called 17 minute fire by locals because once it reached the town, burned everything down in 17 minutes.
When firefighters finally responded, no water at the hydrants.
Emergency response system did not activate, so no warning people were in danger until they heard the screams or felt the heat, and by then was too late.
Thousands unaccounted for according to locals.
Direct energy weapon research facility located very close to the town.

Ryan Cristian interviewed someone from Maui, he does not make claims without doing extensive research. This looks like warfare to me.

The building could be even wooden, but covering it in stucco makes its walls resistant to embers. If the roof is made of non-flammable material (metal, ceramic or concrete tile, etc) the building will not catch fire from embers, unless they get in through open windows or doors. This is where sprinklers come into play and I'm pretty sure resorts like that have fire supression systems by code. These high-rises are made of steel and concrete though. The boats burned on the water were not stucco, concrete or metal - they were made of wood and/or plastic. Drop some embers on them - and they're done. Dry conditions are irrelevant - if the surface is non-flammable it will not catch fire no matter what. Drop some embers on lush grass which has been watered twice a day and all you get is maybe poxmarks here and there.


I'm feeling pretty good about our cinder block building out there right about now.

The court filings allege that Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO) and its subsidiaries failed to properly power down live electrical equipment amid a red flag windstorm earlier this month.

Due to this failure, downed power lines operated by the utility company sparked a series of deadly fires on the island, the lawsuit claimed.

“The lawsuit alleges that the Defendants acted negligently by failing to power down their electrical equipment despite a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning on August 7th,” Maui County said in a release announcing its lawsuit.

“The lawsuit further alleges HECO’s energized and downed power lines ignited dry fuel such as grass and brush, causing the fires,” the announcement added.


They will still argue that the grass and brush would not have been dry were it not for their beloved global warming.

In what universe a notice about some waterproofing work being done on a condo exterior serves as an advance warning for wildfires? No, seriously, were these people supposed to figure this out from an e-mail or was it hand-delivered with a wink? And why such a warning was needed if the condo was designated by Schwab to be spared from the fire?

There won't be any dry grass if sugarcane plantations were still operating. And before there was sugarcane the place was a literal fucking swamp. The land needs to be managed. These people are super into preparation. I would not put it past them to have planned this a year in advance. When did they get the Las Vegas police chief? I find it interesting that the fire proofing was scheduled to wrap up right before the fires started, and that the page has been removed, so you have to look at the archive to see it was even done. This is just one example, but if we agree some people knew and therefore had advance warning, why not resort owners?

Speaking of 'walling off' one thing that has occurred to me is that Lahaina is the only real population center for the whole coastline past the Olowalu tunnel. I don't think there is easy access other than through the tunnel and that 20 miles of coast will have trouble supporting any population if rebuilding is very slow. It is easy to imagine it as an easy area to isolate and secure.

Vid is too long for Pnet, but claims he is a long term resident of Maui, knows lots of people, and that armed pontoons pulled up to Lahaina dock, soldiers with special forces patches started arresting 'police' who had been cordoning off Lahaina, took away their guns and said these 'police' were being arrested for treason, and started forcing the distribution of food, water and aid that was sitting there but held up and not distributed. One would hopium. The all seeing eye of Christine tends to be reliable.
