A transgender journalist from the United States is now an official spokesperson of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Kyiv Post on Thursday tweeted that Sarah Ashton-Cirillo "has become one of the speakers for the Defense Forces," and her work for Ukraine was soon praised in statements from Ukraine's Ministry of Defense and Hanna Mailar, a Ukrainian deputy minister of defense.

"Having been in Ukraine for almost 520 days, in a variety of both civilian and military capacities, more than anything I've come to appreciate the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people," Ashton-Cirillo told Newsweek in an email.

"Over the last month, as my role has evolved from a zero line infantry soldier to one of the public voices of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I've become ever more grateful for that strength," she said.

It had to turn in its custom fit uniforms and wig collection. Tokyo Rose fantasy over.

Maybe the Nazis decided they didn't like fucking its suppurating, chronically granulating, oozing fibrotic wound.

Ukraine continued publicly melting down in the news yesterday. The UK Daily Mail ran a story yesterday about Ukraine’s celebrity American press officer, an unattractive, cross-dessing Baghdad Bob. The article was headlined “Sarah Ashton-Crillo is suspended as Ukraine war spokeswoman after trans Floridian posted blood-curdling video threatening to 'hunt down' Russians.”

Michael Cirillo → “Sarah” Ashton-Cirillo

Sarah Ashton-Cirillo, 45, was removed from his post — although they’re too chicken to say who removed him — after making a viral video where, among other eye-opening remarks, he darkly promised that the “Russian devils” will “pay for their crimes.” A Ukrainian Army spokesman later said Cirillo’s comments were “not approved by higher-ups,” although it is unclear exactly which statements provoked his suspension, or who was supposed to approve them, and so forth.

But this excerpt from Cirillo’s comments will give you the idea. In a voice trembling with rage, Ashton-Crillo hissed:

“Next week, the teeth of the Russian devils will gnash ever harder, and their rabid mouths will foam in an uncontrollable frenzy as the world will see a favored Kremlin propagandist pay for their crimes.
And this puppet of Putin is only the first. Russia's war criminal propagandists will all be hunted down, and justice will be served as we in Ukraine are led on this mission by faith in God, liberty and complete liberation.”
It wasn’t clear which “war criminal propagandist” and “Putin-puppet” Cirillo was promising would “pay for their crimes” next week. Presumably the “crimes” are saying negative things about Ukraine and “paying” involves getting assassinated.

Some folks connected Cirillo’s bloodthirsty comments with Human Events Editor Jack Posobiec, who on Saturday announced he’d just learning he was now on the Ukrainian CIA’s kill list...

Apparently the Ukrainian “SBU” (their CIA) was upset after the Human Events editor truthfully reported that Ukraine killed a bunch of its own people in a recent, tragic, friendly-fire incident, but then blamed it on the Russians of course, those warmongering devils. They hypnotized the Ukrainians into bombing their own civilians! But unfortunately for the Ukrainians, a New York Times reporter actually witnessed the missile’s launch, misfire, and explosion in a local market. To the paper’s great credit, the Times ran the story this week headlined, “Evidence Suggests Ukrainian Missile Caused Market Tragedy.”

So Posobiec is not on the SBU’s assassination list for lying about the war, but rather he’s on the list for telling the unpleasant truth.

I probably don’t need to explain this, but it seems a little counter-productive to send weapons and money to a country with an official policy that includes killing American citizens on American soil. Those kinds of goofy high-jinks used to be a cause for war, but nowadays things are murkier. (It will probably take Ukraine putting a democrat on its kill list for the government to react.)

As a social media influencer who could wind up on the Ukrainian kill list myself, I think “Sarah” Cirillo’s removal was probably for the best. He can stay over in Ukraine though.

With respect to OP, Ukraine will do anything to get support from the West. That includes bribing Bidet family, having trans clowns in TV or whatever. You have to admit that an 80K/month investment + a trans person on TV has been quite successful in procuring weapons and money. I am quite sure that a country in dire straits will do anything to get help.

A completely different issue is if any of the Western ideology will survive after (if) Ukraine wins the war. They will become Poland-2 but perhaps more extreme as it will be quite difficult to impose battle-hardened millions to accept what is popular in the West currently.

Yep best way to pander to Democrats and Establishment (i.e., bureaucracy, New York Times, etc.) is to co-celebrate Woke cult ideals and people.

So there is a direct or proportional relationship between Woke pandering and securing military and humanitarian aid.

Getting attacked by Russia is enough. Poland, Lithuania, Finnland, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic….all these countries are next to/not far from Russia or Ukrain

How much are all these countries giving combined in dollar amount compared to USA and Great Britain ?

I would estimate no more than 10% of what the USA gives.

Ukraine doesn’t have to do much to get support from the west. Getting attacked by Russia is enough. Poland, Lithuania, Finnland, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic….all these countries are next to/not far from Russia or Ukraine and have a natural interest in Ukraine kicking Russia’s ass. You would to if you lived there.

Had lots of Perogies and good beer. We started from Goerlitz in Germany, explored the south west area of Poland and even made it to the Czech Republic (castle Frydland).

Where were you and what did you do there?

Warszawa and Southwest as well - lower Silesia!!! We might have met each other while hiking in Sudet mountains and close by!

Should have had PATNET meeting there!

With this type of backing, it’s impossible for Russia to win this war.

First, that graph doesn't even add up to $100 billion, which the US alone has spent.

Second, Ukraine is going to run out of people. The US will just further bankrupt itself until everybody in Ukraine is dead.

It's not just about money at all. Russia has never lost a war to my knowledge, unless you include Afghanistan. The US loses all it's wars, the people running the US don't even seem concerned about winning the wars.

True Rich as far as open accounting and what is on record, the US gave $50 billion in 2022 and $50 billion is budgeted for 2023. Birdbrain Biden is asking for $24 billion for 2024. Can only speculate that the 2025 funding request may be less than $24 billion as a way to try to deescalate the military conflict.

And from 2014 to 2019, Ukraine received $1.5 billion in military assistance.

It's just Vietnam 2.0. We'll be engaged there forever. We already have mercenaries there, it's just a matter of time before US forces go in.

I hope not. But even if Biden loses to someone not Trump, I don't see this . The militant support for this war is from the Biden and Obama camp. I don't see Nikkii Haley and DaSantis support that.

I also hope not, but I know the foreign policy of the United States, it's just keep the wars going on. There's no mission. Our country literally makes war because we have asshole representatives that invest in defense contractors, then feed the defense contractors money, to profit off from that stock. They're total sociopaths.

I don't think Trump will be allowed to run, and even if he does, to win, and EVEN if he does, to be allowed to end the war.

I see Trump dragging his feet and slow rolling and delaying in a passive aggressive way just the same way Birdbrain Biden is handling border security at the southern border.

If Trump wins there is not much they can do as they already tried impeaching him twice.

I would expect that congress would start doing over-rides on any veto. Really, I think Trump is full of hot air about ending this particular war. They went after him after all for trying to end the Syrian and Afghanistan war, and they were pissed he was trying to end the technical war between North and South Korea.

Seems like the game is to amp up fear constantly, and make up boogeymen, and of course, to start wars.

I seriously knew a person that was afraid of "terrorists invading her kid's school" back in the mid naughts. I've given up, there's no reasoning with these people. They are controlled by fear and propaganda.

I understand as there are financial conflicts of interests with the military industry (bases, arms manufacturers, shipyards, etc) all over the USA. It makes up a large segment of manufacturing.

Right now military spending is about 3.5% of GDP. I think the minimum requirement for NATO countries is that they spend 2% of GDP on their military.

But essentially NATO is the US military followed by Great Britain. BTW, track Lockheed stock price since the late 1990s.

Why do you believe this?

All the government does is lie. You know this.

I need to find it, I once measured the national debt in terms of what an ounce of gold cost, and what silver cost. I should do the same for oil, sugar, and other commodities. Also had it for terms of what the DJIA was.

GDP means nothing at all. It's just how much money changes hands, it's proportional to the amount of debt people and corporations are in.

Can you show me the raw numbers of military expenditures, and I'll graph it as a percentage of the national debt and national deficit?
