How many thought the Russian invasion would last this long without any type of cease fire agreement or Kiev surrender ?

I am surprised it lasted this long.

I am not sure if sending tanks to the region east of Kiev was an attempt to try to get a quick surrender and/or to gauge how much the Ukrainian population would resist. Only population segment that generally seems to not resist at all is in Donbas.

This is correct. Russia recognizes this is a war of attrition with the United States. The game is to prolong it as long as possible to deplete resources of each military. Because everything the US makes is 10-1000 times more expensive than what the Russians make, all they have to do is prolong it, not end it.

The US has the most expensive military in the world, not the best. It's nothing more than a money making racket for criminals, that's why the US is constantly starting wars, even if it destroys the nation. Russia isn't run by fools, but the US is - or by traitors sabotaging the nation.

When the US FINALLY lost the Vietnam war, it bankrupted by the United States, we abandoned the gold standard, we defaulted on debt obligations to everybody. But there was the USSR still there, and it was scary, and Europe would rather be dominated by the US and the USSR, and I don't blame them because the USSR sucked, so they propped the US up anyhow.

This time the US is directly fucking Europe. What does Europe get out of this war? NOTHING. The solution was there for YEARS. Ukraine end their civil war, Russia would (presumably?) allow a US puppet government to run Ukraine, Ukraine remain neutral. Entirely reasonable, would have avoided this entire conflict, but since Ukraine is run by the US, the US didn't agree, and is letting the entire nation get slaughtered. They don't have to kill EVERYBODY to do a genocide, just kill the young. Kill off all the men, and what do you have?

IF I am to believe the so-called Discord leaks (and who knows if they are real or not??) there's a 6/7 to 1 kill ratio or Ukrainians to Russians.
