#israelicrisis Two of our readers are in Israel and still safe. They have had to go down to the bomb shelter of their hotel a few times when enemy rockets came in. My prayers are with them.
Since early Saturday morning, the situation in Israel has had my undivided attention. My "go-to" person who seems to understand the situation better than anyone else and its implications is Chris Cuomo. His family is political royalty in New York State. His dad was governor of New York. His brother was governor of New York State. Chris has worked as a very accomplished television journalist for decades. He is now on the News Nation Network. His show is broadcast at 17:00 and 21:00 Pacific time.
Chris is currently in Israel. He has brought out some surprising facts. First, some 100,000 US citizens live in Israel. Please reflect on this. My reading of this number is that the US is going to get drawn into what happens in Israel during this crisis. President Biden is publicly taking a calm and conciliatory attitude about this crisis. In private I am sure that he acts and talks differently.
Israel has a vibrant and brilliant high-technology industry. 1/5 of Israel's GDP comes from technology earnings. There is a claim that Israel has more high-tech startups than we have in Silicon Valley.
With all this technical prowess, Israel built a wall to separate it from the Gaza Strip. It is a brilliant metal fence with all sorts of electronic sensors and constant drone surveillance. It is far more advanced than anything we have built or will build along the Mexican border.
Hamas defeated this wall. They flew over it with paragliders. They defeated the electronic sensors. They knocked big holes in this fence and drove vehicles through them. I suspect that they spent two years preparing for this incursion. I am also sure that they had help from both Iran and Russia to come up with a plan to defeat this wall.
Your morning newspaper has an excellent article on why Israeli security forces and advanced technology failed. It is a profound warning for the US.
This morning there are many reports of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip rushing to overwhelm the Egyptian border to flee to that country. The resources do not exist in Egypt to handle such a huge influx of refugees.
Israel has set out the goal of eradicating Hamas. The Hamas people hide in tunnels and among civilians in the Gaza Strip. There will be a huge loss of life to achieve this goal.
Thus far, Hezbollah on Israel's other borders has remained quiet. This will not be the case as the hostilities continue. We are heading toward a direct conflict between Israel and Iran.
My advice to Israel and US military planners is to bring in some excellent military advisors from Ukraine. Some unconventional tactics and weapons are going to have to be used. One hint is that Iran has a serious Achilles Heel. Four refineries refine all the oil that they sell for massive foreign exchange earnings. If those 4 oil refineries were taken offline permanently, Iran's economy would collapse. Let your imagination run wild. I was once involved in a high-level war gaming group that looked at an Israeli attack on Iran to destroy its nuclear weapons program.

With attitude like that nobody will show up for him on Jan 6, 2025 if it comes to that. Because "they shouldn't have to".

I don't care whose fault it is or who should have done what, but a dude with a bunch of billions in his war chest could throw some cash to people rotting in jail because they stood up when he called.

I bet most of them relied on "public defenders" and we all know this is a shitty proposition.
18   Tenpoundbass   2023 Oct 26, 9:20pm

Nancy Pelosi belongs in a prison along side Liz Cheney, for the ciminally insane awaiting execution by firing squad. McCrappy couldl have undone every last bit of what She and he cohort did.McCrappy did more to protect them from that fate, than to protect the American people and our constitution. He fought tooth and nail to prevent a sensible Speaker of the House that would consider righting that wrong. I'm sure to protect his hand in the treason as well.
You can't lawyer up against these Demons they'll chew them up and spit them out. You have to just keep fighting like hell and growing in numbers until they are outnumbered and done in. The day of reckoning is coming for these sorry rotten Bastards. Every last one of them! Legal defense would have been useless.
19   Tenpoundbass   2023 Oct 26, 9:24pm

And by the way if History has the last word. Every persecuted J6'er and the the families of those they killed or deceased due to the legal woes. Will end up with hefty settlements. Their ship will come it. It may take a while but they will see millions each before a single Black Democrat voter ever sees one red cent of Reparation money.

Had he done that, he would caught every legal recourse that the Democrats didn't get for bailing out murders, looters and arsonists. It's just how they operate. Everything is a trap with Commie Mother Fuckers. The consequeces of their Deflect and Project is real.

two American F-16's dropped precision guided bombs on "Iranian-backed" forces in Syria today

I would like to see them use the F-35 for an attack role as they marketed it as stealth and also joint fighter and attack aircraft

think of all that US taxpayer money for the F-35 program since it started around the late 1990s

I guess they are holding back use of the F-35 for more demanding missions .. they should at least have F-35s deployed on the aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean

..

The F-35 is nothing more than Air Show jet. When you see all of the grift today, it's not hard to realize why the F-35 plagued with nothing but problems in development. Then you can understand that there's no fucking way the clowns in charge, ever fixed it and made it right. Every cent to do so, was probably diverted to get Obama elected in 2008.

This is a weird conclusion from the post you quoted. Obviosly, Trump is blamed for not helping people who stuck their necks out for him and now being persecuted. He definitely has the means to help with their legal expenses, at least partially. It would send a powerful message.

are there any good lawyers that would be willing to defend them knowing what they are up against with our "new" legal system and risk ruining their careers?

Pay legal expenses of J6 people rotting in jail. If he did, why would keep something like that under wraps? As I said, doing so sends a powerful message. Not doing it also sends a powerful message. So which one is it? Looks like it's "thank you for showing up when I needed you, now you are on your own".

Can you name one single Obama Judge that would even give a high powered lawyer a fair shake without persecuting him and destroying his career?

I don't think you have been paying attention. We're past the legal state, there is no legitimate court system in our country at this point. We're in wait mode, for the rest of America to wake up. It's still a long road ahead, and even Trump's chances of making it past the Primaries without being incarcerated, and then some Judge arbitrarily siding with Perkie Coie to remove Trump from the Ballot is a 50% chance. Then if he makes it past that there's a 60% chance the election will be stolen with a magnitude of fraud 10X the 2020 election. The only thing that will save us from that fate is people in Blue Cities who are State Sanctioned head busters, to wake up and bust some fucking heads at the polling stations, chasing the Woke Election Fixers out, when they try to tape up the windows, and run the elections fairly. Because the chance of election integrity making it past our compromised Obama Marxist Judges is NILL.

You're dreaming if you think Trump could hire Lawyers. Just look at the long exhaustive list of Lawyers he's gone through. Giuliani has been ruined. If our courts were still functioning. Giuliani would have been Trump's lawyer at ever turn and won every case. He would be everything that Morgan and Morgan thinks they are.

More over you do realize there were multiple Go Fund Me and other source funding sites that raised millions for all of their defense. But the J6 committee yes the Liz Cheney Persecution Committee seized all of that money and declared it illegal. There was a big uproar over how Kamala Harris could back ANTIFA and BLM thugs, but nobody could pay the legal bills of the J6 persecuted victims.
I think your News Retention memory only runs from Nightly News to Nightly News.

I don't give a fuck about gofundmes. It's not coming from Trump, it's coming from regular working stiffs. And if Trump was paying for legal defense of J6 people it would not be possible to "seize" anything, so more reasons for him to do it.

Facts are facts, you can retain your "news".

Well there's a fact a foot here. You're not a victim of Nancy Pelosi's Persecution. What's missing with your gripe is NOT the same argument coming from any of the J6 victims. Why is that?

precision? A standard Mk 82 bomb body produces a lethal area of approximately 80 m (across) by 30 m (along), giving a lethal area of approximately 2,400 m2. The pre-fragmented version, known as the PFB-82, produces a similarly-shaped, but much larger lethal area of 240 m (across) by 80 m (along) high, giving a lethal area of 19,200 m2. Thats surgical LOL

The Hamas people hide in tunnels and among civilians in the Gaza Strip.

https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/spongey-friday-october-27-2023-c

💣 A photo of a series of recently-collapsed tunnels in Kahn Yunis, Gaza, gives you an idea of what Hamas has been doing with all the aid money and construction materials it has received from the U.S. and other countries over the last decade.

In Gaza, there are cities above the ground, and there is a giant insectile tunnel city under the ground:

Question asked: NBC News ran a story yesterday headlined, “Gaza is plagued by poverty, but Hamas has no shortage of cash. Where does it come from?” The sub-headline explained, “Hamas has an investment portfolio of real estate and other assets worth $500 million, say experts, and an annual military budget of as much as $350 million.”

How about that? Qatar and Iran are Hamas’ largest funders. One suspects the U.S. is also somewhere on that list, paying U.S. tax dollars over for “humanitarian assistance” to a group worth half a billion. And that net worth is just what Hamas publicly admits to, the legal side of the operation.

So don’t worry. Financially, the terror group is doing very well.
41   Tenpoundbass   2023 Oct 27, 10:33am

Gaza has money for thousands, that's multiple units of thousands of missles. Then they should have Tanks and other artillery to actually fight the Israeli Army and defend Gaza, but they don't. They are just cut throat murders period, cowards and not worth the life of a dog. They just want to bomb and kill innocent civilians, with missle or sneaking over in a tunnel. Kill Kill Killl then sneak back like the coward dogs that they are. Fuck them when they realize they should have actually used that money to buy hardware to combat an Israeli assault and trained them to be soldiers rather than Terrorist Coward Dogs that they are.

I could respect them as deserving government of a sovereign country if they were an actual army, which they are NOT. Sucks to be them NOW.

Israel is engaged in as much of a civil war between Left and Right as its godfathers in Europe and North America are enduring. On top of that, Israel decided to become the poster-child for Covid-19 vaccination “uptake.” It seemed like a valiant stand in the first flush of the Covid “crisis,” but now it looks more like they poisoned more than 90-percent of their population. You don’t hear much about it these days, but it’s lurking there, just like the massive vaccine damage that Europe and America have by stealth sustained lurks in the background of rising war fever and disintegrating economies.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — Notorious Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh will soon be relocating to the U.S. as a Senior Fellow at Harvard University in the field of international relations.

"We are honored to welcome such an austere scholar to these hallowed halls," said Harvard Dean Rakesh Khurana. "Mr. Haniyeh brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in diplomacy, public relations, and terrorizing innocent Jews — all things we prize highly here at Harvard. We know his valuable and unique perspective will expand the young minds who come here to learn."

Sources say the position will add to the diversity of the staff and provide Haniyeh with a salary of $780,000 per year.

"Inshallah, I hope to remain in this position for years to come, molding young minds to seek the glory of martyrdom as they spill the blood of the Jews," said Haniyeh. "Death to Israel and death to America. Allahu Akbar."

At publishing time, the Dean had politely asked Haniyeh to please stop throwing rocks at Jews in the quad.

It's because almost everything gets pleaded out. It's probably mostly the poor saps who don't have decent lawyers (because of lack of money or having a pigheaded illusion they can DIY it) who go to court and lose there. Watch how all these lawyers who got accused of "election interference" plead out to $5K fee + probation and "letter of apology".
