This is a weird conclusion from the post you quoted. Obviosly, Trump is blamed for not helping people who stuck their necks out for him and now being persecuted. He definitely has the means to help with their legal expenses, at least partially. It would send a powerful message.

More over you do realize there were multiple Go Fund Me and other source funding sites that raised millions for all of their defense. But the J6 committee yes the Liz Cheney Persecution Committee seized all of that money and declared it illegal. There was a big uproar over how Kamala Harris could back ANTIFA and BLM thugs, but nobody could pay the legal bills of the J6 persecuted victims.
