One reason Islam became expansionist is that allowing 4 wives each meant that young men had no option but to raid surrounding areas for women. So the older guys who already had 4 wives decided that Islam says it's perfectly OK to steal women from non-Muslims. That gets the young guys to leave the area and not bother the older guys.

The Mormons actually had a similar problem, and still do among the pockets of Mormon fundamentalists. Older guys with lots of wives meant that young guys had to be sent away.

Probably Biden just forgot Hamas’ name, and “the other team” remark was a sundowner technique to cover for the embarrassing gaffe.

Can you imagine poor Netanyahu having to smile through an entire meeting with Biden talking that slow? According to reports, the men met for “longer than expected,” which was just over an hour. I think we can agree the meeting was extended because Biden talked so slow and Bibi had to keep asking Joe’s handlers to explain what he just said.

To be clear: I take no position on who’s to blame for the hospital, because how could I? I don’t have access to the evidence. Neither does anybody else, and so nobody should be reacting emotionally (except perhaps over for the general tragedy of war). But at this point, Israel has presented a credible defense, and the burden of proof has shifted back to the Palestinians to prove that the explosion was not caused by one of their own rockets. They also need to explain why the hospital wasn’t reduced to a skeleton staff after the original Israeli evacuation warnings.

The thing with JDAMs - they don't carry any fuel becase these are just dumb bombs converted with a wing kit. So if you see massive fire after explosion in the middle of parking lot it must be a missile, not bomb, and one at the early part of its trajectory, because this is when it has all the fuel still unburned. Simple logic, no "sources" needed.

Did you watch anything to the contrary? Did you read the tweet initially put out from Bibi's personal team claiming responsibility? Did you look at the history, past and present where Israel has repeatedly targeted medical facilities, vehicles, and personnel? The Israeli government reposting a 2022 explosion as proof it wasn't them, 30 minutes after the hospital went under(all pulled back)? The press conference where Channel 4 UK debunked every claim Israel was making?

I don't think you care, but another link, with citations. I say that because the evidence is so overwhelming that Israel is lying at this point, I don't know how else to explain your statement.

Again, if you, or any of the 4 votes had read the link I provided, from our military, you'd know the control over this bomb allows detonation at any point before impact with the ground(no crater). If you ever did any research into Israeli government bombing patterns, you'd also know they often choose to detonate before hitting the ground.

If I thought I might be supporting governments who bomb hospitals, I'd double and triple check my facts to make sure that's not the case, as it would be abhorrently evil. If you haven't done that, what does it say about you as a person?

There were FOUR hospitals bombed, not just one.

The number if people is certainly incorrect. We don't know who the source of this information was from either.

It COULD be that Hamas claimed that 800 people died, but that would be stupid, because it would be discredited. It's POSSIBLE they are this stupid.

It's ALSO possible that Israel fed this false information to the media, to discredit Hamas by claiming they were the source of the information.

It's hard to tell because our media lies to us so often. It's possible OUR media just made up the number, knowing it would be discredited. Who knows?

Whenever a war is going on it's just an endless string of lie after lie. Remember when Putin had cancer? Remember the Ghost of Kiev? The battle of Snake Island? Israel existed for 20 years (1947-1967) without any substantial USG assistance, and US aid is 3% of their Annual Government Budget (not their GDP).
