Sympathy isn't much of an incentive. I'd say more likely reasons include Hamas leadership needing to refill the coffers, Israel wanting the land, US wanting the resources. But the even more likely scenario is deep state wanting to test out mass extermination, gauge people's tolerance for it, create yet another divisive topic to divide morons, child trafficking, money laundering, bringing US citizens closer to 3rd World status, and good ol' Satanic sacrifices.

It is war. It is not about people, or saving lives. It certainly is not about quality of life or freedom or any of those great ideals that Americans are used to hearing as reasons for war. It is about WINNING. Hamas hoped their attack would rally other Islamic terrorists to join the fight. Hamas wants to destroy Israel from the river to the sea. They hoped their attack would be the spark that ignites a larger Islamic war to destroy Israel. It still might be that spark and blaming Israel for the attack plays right into Hamas’s plan to defeat Israel.
