you cannot found a valid movement upon that which cannot be moved, but the class of people “too educated to learn anything” will nonetheless cling to such praxis unto death (and beyond) and shall ever cart about their sacred dead like incan mummies still granted unimpeachable places at the table of discourse.

the anointed ideology itself is meaningless, its tenets incidental. it exists only as a signifier of the prerogative to speak without contradiction or challenge.

there could be no more bankrupt ideology, no more helpless or hapless a creature unable to survive outside the cultivated terrariums of special pleading to which it is indigenous than this non-interrogatable doctrine not just of faith but of fealty that has come to pass as “intellectualism.”

this frailty is precisely why they must defend their dogmas so fiercely. ...

this is how you get the sort of insularity and inability to parse or interact with reality that has come to dominate academia. the “flatulence as fragrance” class simply cannot imagine any other structure and it distills and re-distills this essence until pure avatars emerge.

pretty soon, you have presidents of once august universities whose entire lives and bodies of work are fraud.

this woman literally plagiarized the acknowledgement in her dissertation. not just the work. not just the ideas. sections of the actual acknowledgment where she thanks those who helped her are copied word for fricking word from the 1996 book “facing up to the american dream: race, class, and the soul of the nation” by harvard political scientist jennifer hochschild. she faked her ideas, she faked her data, and when caught, the system around her faked having investigated her to try to silence the media with threats of libel suits. ...

and honestly, her work alone should have been disqualifying. decency would seem to dictate that if you’re going to plagiarize something, at least find something good, something profound, not vapid twaddle that’s as predictable as it is tedious. there was no scholarship here, no insight, no wisdom.

this stuff is terrible and it’s terrible on purpose.

it’s trash foisted on phonies as a sort of ideological purity test:

prove you can see the clothes of this butt naked emperor or you may not reside among us in the ivory towers.

it’s a screening tool, a selector.

and it just keeps getting worse and worse until one day one reaches the truly indefensible: pure rarified essence of primal idiocy and dissolution. ...

and honestly, the whole thing is becoming gorgeous. it’s just SO bad. it’s so absurd. it’s so obvious and blatant and irredeemable. it cannot be fixed. it must be burned to the waterline and it’s about to be. people have had it and heads are going to roll. this fight is already over, the wokesters just don’t know it yet.

as soon as it became OK to criticize and mock them, their reign ended. it was only through the “sacred idea which may not be challenged” that they survived. it was only by censoring and shouting down and canceling that this ridiculous and rotten regime of righteous bigots masquerading as diversity and inclusion could flex its phony power and cow criticism to silence. ...

the spectacle is going to become a hilarity of self-clown and self-immolation.

these people are just going to keep doubling down and overplaying a hand that any fool can see is a loser. (well, almost any fool, astonishingly, barack obama himself has apparently waded in to try to save ms gay)

harvard is going to be a fascinating acid test.

penny pritzger (heiress to the pritzger family fortune and political dynasty and herself the commerce secretary under BO and a biden special economic representative to ukraine) seems to have bought herself a board seat then led the process to pick claudine gay.

it seems like this is just typical “close ranks, prop each other up, weather the storm” thinking, but it seems to be failing and the longer it goes on, the bigger the chunk it will need to take out if it fails. they are all roped together and so whereas there was a time ms gay could have been put up as sacrificial lamb to allow the others to skate, that time seems like perhaps it has past and questions around “did you really investigate this?” seem like they are getting pointy and like perhaps the list of those who must fall upon swords in propitiation is lengthening.

many seem surprised by this, perhaps most of all those involved. they are trying their old tricks and finding them fruitless.

i really do not think they understand how much the land beneath them has shifted.

they will drive right into brick walls at full speed. ...

We now see a huge fault line in the far left: between the ultra-woke and the wealthy Jewish donors.

The ultra-woke have come out of the closet as blatantly anti-Semitic, and Jewish donors don't like that. But to accede to the demands of Jewish donors and remove Gay would now seem to prove that those Jews do actually have the power they pretend not to have, confirming at least that bit of the new ultra-woke bias.

This is all quite entertaining. It was a huge strategic error on the part of wealthy Jews like Pritzker to fund anti-white hatred by installing people like Gay, because now their own golem is coming after themselves.

Anyone actually take Ivy schools seriously? I was accepted to Brown in 2000. I didn't go. I set my bar low and wanted to stay local for friends and family. It was a good decision. I saw enough of the Northwestern, University of Chicago and University of IL ass hats. They thought they were all gods gift to the earth. They weren't. Some are dead. The piece of paper doesn't matter if you know how to network. Harvard holds your hand with that. Doesn't mean you're good at it.

I saw a strange documentary on Naval Intelligence spying on the Nazis and their technology in WWII. They wanted someone to head the group who never went to Annapolis, was not a dynastic, and came up from the ranks. The thought was Annapolis graduates were mostly connected, rank and file types, and what they learned from their textbooks was tainted with disinformations, limitations and falseness of varying kinds. They needed somebody who could look at things with an open mind and fresh perspective, because the information was radical.

I imagine you could consider the Ivies in that kind of decaying orbit with KommieKunt sauce. The Masonic and handshake societies contained within, however, proceed as their own cloistered educational experience.

False doctrinaire education is increasingly being substituted for genuine education by design. Its also why some researchers only use encyclopedias dating from the early 60's and earlier.

A few weeks ago, my boy Christopher Brunethad what I’m pretty sure is the biggest break in his career when he teamed up with Christopher Rufo to reveal that Harvard’s diversity hire president Claudine Gay had plagiarized at least half of the papers in her extremely meagre academic oeuvre: of the scant 11 publications she has to her name, 43 include substantial uncredited excerpts from the work of other more talented4 scholars. For Brunet, collecting Claudine Gay’s scalp was a personal passion project: he tried breaking the story when he was still a stringer for The Daily Caller, only to have the brave and based conservative warriors for freeze peach and apple pie cave under spurious threats from Harvard’s legal department...

Unlike the Daily Caller, Chris doesn’t care about lawerly nastygrams. So much the worse for Harvard. And the Daily Caller.

Once the story was out, the Internet resounded with calls for Claudine the Fake and Gay to resign. Being possessed of the full measure of integrity characterizing the contemporary academic class, which is to say having none whatsoever, she naturally dug in her heels and refused outright. Harvard’s Board, who after all had hired her, backed her up completely. Harvard’s senior fellows assured everyone that they’d looked into the matter of her academic writings, and found that everything was fine (while also hilariously affirming their commitment to academic freedom and open discourse). Five hundred Harvard professors published an open letter defending Fake and Gay. Actually make that seven hundred professors, just shy of a third of the university’s entire professoriate.

The message from the DIEvies is clear: they do not care that they have appointed a stuttering fraud to the highest office of America’s (formerly) most prestigious scholarly enclave. To the contrary, they’re proud of it. They are united in their unanimous and unqualified support of an affirmative action hire elevated far beyond her extremely limited talents. Moreover, they don’t care the smallest bit what the dirty, ignorant, uneducated rubes, who have probably never even heard of Lacan, think of the matter.

Nothing could surprise me less than this reaction. At this point the professoriate, especially the younger and more energetic fraction, has been saturated with soft-spoken yet sanpaku-eyed politically motivated hirelings whose sole claim to original scholarship is finding a novel means of excavating misogynoir from between the lines of Dickens’ deconstructed Christmas Carol5. They were admitted as undergraduate students on the basis of their sex and skin colour, got into graduate school because they learned to say the correct things about sex and skin colour, and slimed their way into tenure because they figured out how to interpret every phenomenon in the universe on the exclusive basis of sex and skin colour. Imposter syndrome is a way of life for them. They know full well that the only reason they have their privileged positions is the sweet rot of the DIElectical matrix within which they have grown like mold proliferating in a neglected vegetable crisper.

Claudine the Fake and Gay is one of them. She is, in a sense, all of them, the distilled essence of their entire class, the embodied avatar of the modern academy.

I mean, just look at her.

She’s got the look down pat. The giant, square-rimmed glasses, reminding you that she is in fact, an intellectual, that you are required to address her as Doctor. The aggressively ugly black woman buzz cut, which proclaims proudly to the world, “I don’t care about the beauty standards of cisheteronormative whiteness”. The power shoulder blazer, so you know she means business.

Her surname is redolent of the rainbow banner, and while that seems on the one hand like plucking the low hanging fruit of a cheap joke, it’s also powerfully aptronymic – you can practically hear the magic of that name working on the subconscious minds of the hiring committee, their inner voices squealing in delight as they reviewed her application. “A black woman named Gay!? HIRED!”

I suspect that one-two punch of a black-woman-named-Gay has had at least something to do with her meteoric rise through the ranks of academic administration. Her contributions to the scholarly literature certainly haven’t fuelled it. That said, her publication history could not be any more exquisitely well-suited to her role as the living icon of affirmative action. First, and as is now well-known, it is fraudulent, right down to the level of her doctoral dissertation. How fitting for the era of the replication crisis, in which that which is not plagiarized can be assumed to be simply made up. Second, what little she has published has been written exclusively on exactly the subject matter you would expect. ...

She is a professional black woman, writing about black woman things, and therefore a perfect figurehead for a narcissistic academy filled to its frothy brim with professional sodomities writing about sodomy things, professional women writing about woman things, professional Muslims writing about Muslim people things, and professional trannies writing about things you really wish they’d keep to themselves.

Some have have expressed bewildered amazement that Harvard could not have found a black woman of actual academic accomplishment, rather than, you know, her. I have no doubt that such black women must exist, but this complaint misses the point. Fake and Gay was appointed to her position not in spite of her pathetic scholarly record, but because of it. For the legions of posers and frauds occupying the offices of Harvard’s department, her unimpressive contributions make them feel safe. She’s just like them. She won’t make them look bad. By ostentatiously lowering the bar so far it drops into the dirt, she reaffirms that the rest of them can carry on doing what they’ve been doing – which is to say, nothing that matters to anyone. Including themselves.

Essentially everything in the universities is now at best irrelevant, at worst openly fraudulent. ...

That statement detracts from an otherwise excellently written article. There is no "Black women's buzz cut." People with sufficient sub-Saharan African blood have naturally short hair, as the hair itself actually breaks off if it grows more than a half inch or so. This short hair happens to said Black women unless they take extra efforts like putting petroleum jelly like products in their hair or wearing wigs. The author must not know many Black people.

I can't believe it's all become this political and this corrupt.

The Harvard Crimson announced earlier this month that their embattled, plagiarizing president, Claudine Gay, would be holding onto her lucrative position, "with the support of the Harvard Corporation - the University's highest governing body."

This is despite the fact that, as The New York Times reported, it puts the school in a tenuous position trying to enforce its own plagiarism code on students.

It's a common warning for high school teachers like me to give our graduating senior class each year. "Colleges let you get away with a lot of stuff these days, but don't plagiarize. What gets you an F here, can get you expelled there."

It seems a caveat will need to be added: "Unless you get accepted at Harvard… then you're good."

How embarrassing for what some still consider the nation's premier post-secondary school. So embarrassing, in fact, that Harvard has been facing a devastating loss of donor dollars in recent weeks. And yet they and their supporters persist in defending the indefensible no matter how silly they look.

They likely feel that the size of the current endowment will allow Harvard to weather this donor loss storm.

Why do I have mixed feelings?

Her plagiarism was always there. Nobody of importance ever looked into it. Plagiarism was perfectly fine for Harvard University, the branch of science Dr. Gay specializes in, and so on.

The only reason why people looked into her scientific works and her dissertation in search of plagiarism is the Israel/Palestine conflict. ...

As our astute reader “SCA” pointed out, accusations of Dr. Gay’s scientific wrongdoing (participating in faking research data) were mentioned over a year ago - and no one cared! Harvard was so enamored with Dr. Gay that it disregarded its policy and ignored the accusations. ...

I hope that this scandal, as bad as it is, will reduce the amount of plagiarism and bad science - but I am also concerned that no one cares about science being done properly until a political battle involves one of such compromised scientific figures, such as Dr. Gay.

The Associated Press published an angry article yesterday with a Republicans Pounce!-style headline: “Harvard president's resignation highlights new conservative weapon against colleges: plagiarism.”

It can only be a weapon against ‘colleges’ if they plagiarized somebody. Just saying. ...

Ms. Gay (if that’s her real name), survived an initial barrage calling for her resignation over her atrociously smug performance at her Congressional testimony last month. Controversy arose after the top educator smugly refused to agree that genocidally calling for jews to be wiped off the face of the Middle East violated Harvard’s so-called speech policy, a tautly-enforced policy that can get a student expelled for accidentally calling the University’s president Mister Gay, for just one example, and don’t even ask what happens if you whisper “what is a woman” anywhere on Harvard’s campus.

They drag you into the Skull & Bones club’s back room and nobody ever sees you again, that’s what.

Anyway, Claudine somehow survived the worst that the Anti-Defamation League could dish out, and the shady Harvard Corporation’s anonymous board issued a rock-solid plebiscite of support, or whatever they call it. But then two influencers got involved: Harvard alum, Pershing Capital CEO, billionaire, and major donor Bill Ackman, and even more triggering for the Left, “conservative activist” Christopher Rufo piled on.

Both men claimed to have whistleblower information proving Claudine was a chronic plagiarist, which apparently is just what you don’t want to be if you’re president of a major Ivy League University.

Well, after millions of people started looking over her writings, it turned out that Claudine might have possibly borrowed a phrase or two from other academics and could have forgotten to mention it, from time to time. It started with her PhD dissertation. And it apparently continued through pretty much everything the so-called academic ever wrote, which in her defense is not very much, certainly not when compared to previous non-black Harvard presidents.

For instance, Claudine is the only Harvard president in history who’s never written a book. So? Books are overrated. And books are racist. Who cares.

You probably think I’m planning a victory lap since, in C&C’s December 10th roundup, I correctly predicted this would happen. “Gay’s a goner,” I said. “Claudine Gay will be gone soon,” I said. Fortunately, no one took the bet, because what would I do with Bud Lite stock shares?

... And, as she pointed out in her letter, Claudine’s coerced cancellation proves that the entire system is organized against black women of color, especially extra-black women of color sporting short-cropped hair, an austere, sexually ambiguous appearance, and wearing fat-framed Malcolm X glasses. Which all proves their essential blackness.

So you can easily see: This wasn’t just racism. It was systematic racism, which is literally one billion trillion times worse than regular racism. ...

It’s all such a shame, but the worst effect of Claudine’s untimely resignation is how unfortunately it hurts the whole movement toward diversity, equity, and inclusion. Just consider the unhappy statistics so far:

The first black female president of Harvard has now resigned as a serial plagiarist after the shortest tenure in the school’s history.

The first black female Supreme Court Justice does not know what a woman is.

The first black female Vice-President can’t stop laughing like a hyena — I think it might be Tourette’s Syndrome — and she ‘enjoys’ the lowest approval rating of any Vice-President in American history, and that includes VP Spiro Agnew, who resigned in disgrace in 1973 after being convicted of bribery and tax evasion.

I’m just saying it doesn’t look too good for DEI. Maybe things would look better if they were allowed to choose some conservative ladies of color. It’s almost like it’s not really about diversity at all, but is really just about marxism.

Never mind, I’m talking crazy again.

This is a deflection by the AP. It was not Republicans that pounced, it was Jewish donors and other powerful Jews that did not like Gay's stance on Palestine. Falsely blaming Republicans is the AP's effort to stop Blacks from being angry at Jews.
