Pre Trump the whole Republican field would have bailed after the first caucus if the front winner won by over 70% and none of the other candidates broke 15%. This type of candidates would be illegal if you are I were pooling money to bankroll candidates that don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning. Every agency in Washington would be crawling up our asses looking see what kind of grift we were running. None of these other candidates have organic ground game with donors. The kind of money being thrown at them is a clear violation of Election and Campaign laws. To sit here and listen to even TGP talk about this like it's legit second place candidates, is just stupid.

Look at how the GOP establishment, Liberal Media and Rino's like Marco Rubio, Lindsey Graham are all getting in line with Trump.

Because our apparent front runner is one Big Mac away from a stroke or fall and has to get through a shit ton of indictments (including serious charges on his records at Mar Lago) before we have this thing secured up. Nice to have some backup and finish the primary process.

Anyhoo - looks like we got our establishment candidate locked in tonight. How soon before Trump makes Lindsey Graham the Secretary of Defense?

The Koch etc. are still praying that Trump ends up convicted of something...anything so the voters will swap candidates when the press goes full carnivore over the conviction.

This isn't like calling Arizona with 1% of the vote in after reports all day of "Box #3" and massive machine fails.

This is a caucus, not a primary.

You've got one guy ahead by 7+ pts of the next two candidates combined, which matches both the entrance and exit polls, including those done by small outfits, not just big media or big academia.

That's now. At the end of the night, once things finish up in the more rural west of the state, we'll see Nimratta and DeSantis around 15-18% each.

It's sad that DeSantis couldn't wait his turn, or was manipulated into not waiting his turn. The guy is young, the MAGA heir apparent, and well liked.

Just heard on RAV, that Democrats got hundreds, maybe a thousand, Democrats to switch to GOP in day-of registration changes allowed in Iowa, to caucus for Nimratta.
