The plebeians demanded representation in the government, but the wealthy patrician senate was strongly opposed. The plebeians of the army staged a walkout at one point, leaving Rome and setting up camp nearby. This forced the patricians to compromise, because without the plebeians there was no one to fight or do manual work. Maybe modern Westerners could do something similar.
Will they start throwing them off the towers of their castle keeps? Are they going underground into their luxury bunkers?
