That's fine. But acknowledge that Texas had to use local resources to stop the current invasion on their border. That's local on a state level. They've likely enlisted local police along the border, we just don't hear about that.

Federal government is there to protect us from outside influences. They've done dumb ass shit. But the job has been done. Texas saw a problem and acted. As they should. You know what stirred the shit pot? Local towns pissed about a bunch of foreigners strolling into town. They barked first, state listened and now the nation is listening. It's bottom up, unless you want to be controlled and do nothing.
