Yes, I think one primary goal was to get everyone to submit to digital surveillance. The tactic was to manipulate public opinion to get those who resisted digital surveillance to be classified as "dangerous" to the health of others.
It turned out that more than half of the human population is unable to detect an obvious scam even after it stuck them with a needle and made them sick.

Add illegals to that. I remember well, you probably do as well, how Democrats in the 90s used to rage against illegals. How Republicans were importing every illegal to work for $2/hour. And Republicans back then were all for illegals. I don’t grasp how it flipped. I only speculate that Democrats learned that giving illegaks benefits and votes turns illegals into D voters, and that suddenly frightened Rs who imported illegals in the first place.
