He won’t temper Republican votes and may just truly conquer the independent vote.

Just watched Tulsi Gabbard on FOX. She dodged the VP question. She also said the Dems are intentionally trying to subvert democracy by disqualifying Trump. I heard elsewhere that Noem, Scott, and someone else...forgot who...are out also. I suppose it could be desantis, but I'd bet money right now that Trump will pick Gabbard as VP. Gives him someone who is beholden to no one, and who averts his assasination since Gabbard isn't controlled either.

I hope not.
I don't want to see her become president someday.

At this point in the globohomo shitshow, is there anyone who isn't a Manchurian candidate?

I was going to argue that she's a risk he'd get Kennedy'd with her before I saw you write that. I'm not so sure. I don't trust her. Why not Kari Lake? Definitely not Tim Scott that's Trumps death sentence.

I agree. Kari Lake would be a better candidate.

Does anyone know a legit URL to a Trump donation site? I guess he's going to spend all of his campaign money on the corrupt NY trail verdict while waiting to appeal.
6   Tenpoundbass   2024 Mar 23, 1:20pm

He should pick Don Jr.
8   SoTex   2024 Mar 23, 1:25pm

This does not and after the house cleaning I'm more likely to donate to the RNC: https://secure.gop.com/donate

But that doesn't go directly to Trump.

Wow, another RNC donation site that doesn't look sketch. Which one is legit?

Okay, apparently he set up Save America and has been using it for his legal bills too: https://secure.winred.com/save-america-joint-fundraising-committee/presidential-founder

You can get there by donaldjtrump.com too...

She won't be VP pick. I'd bet good money on it. I think he wants an absolute ass hole in that position. I'm not certain he wants all the attention this time around besides when needed. A Gaetz type would be likely. I don't think it needs to be a woman or black. I think he goes scorched earth this time and he needs someone like that. Tulsi is playing her cards to get a media gig at best.

Jim Jordan might be good, but he's too short. Loses the woman vote there, but I suppose he'd debate Kamala, lol, so he'd make her look like a fool. So would Gaetz. Trump would be lame duck so I don't think being in the spotlight is all that important to him now. Definitely don't think it will be a Pence type. I do actually think that hurt him. He seems like a closeted gay.

The problem with Pence is not that he may be a possible closeted gay, he's just another status quo scumbag. The whole purpose of electing somebody like Trump is NOT to have another scumbag like him.

Trump had to do it for "credibility" in round number 1, he doesn't this time around.

Agree. That's my point. He WILL be a lame duck when elected. No shits to give.

The numbers don't remotely add up for Biden to win. My left wing mother already sees the writing on the wall.

The worst case scenario is an outright conflict with US troops. He then becomes a war time president for whatever that's worth. Covid or a virus won't work again. A war could, maybe. I'm hoping that doesn't happen as the last two were 20 years roughly. All my sons will be fighting age in 7 years or less. Already game planning a back door exit to a place like Costa Rica. I appreciate vets, but this isn't 1940. My kids ain't fighting in a war.

Yeah, get the F out of the country. Save your kids.

Our military hasn't fought on behalf of this nation in my lifetime, and I do NOT appreciate MOST vets. I can understand how they were suckered into it, but doing the "thank you for your service" junk is just rewarding a bad decision.

The military is breaking down in part because people have FINALLY become aware of what it is. I wish they knew 30 years ago. Our military isn't scraping from the bottom of the barrel because of DEI nonsense, they don't have a choice. If every kid at 18 knew what I knew, NONE of them would join the military.

Slippery slope on this one. If I'm being honest most military vets were losers. To be honest I have no issue hanging out with them. It's just reality. They didn't know better or needed government assistance and were willing to fight if it came down to it. Some of my best buddies are vets of Iraq and Afghanistan. They didn't like it either. It was a path to a better life though. So they took it.

Regardless of the wars, two good buddies made out better from getting into the military. They highly likely would have been life long losers without it. Both are breadwinners and doing above average. There is some value to it regardless of leadership.

Yeah, but I pay for it.

I have no problem with some sort of civil service, but our military is just a waste of money.

You know what would be awesome? Have a bunch of the military come into a city and just clean the place the fuck up. If they did THAT, I'd love the military. I know they aren't a janitorial service, but they sure aren't the world's peace keepers either.

Yeah but there's a reason military is not allowed unless near the border.

50% don't. Consider yourself lucky I guess. That's why no one will ever care. $40k deep this year...

It's going to bankrupt this nation and destroy the country. The military establishment of Russia is a predominate factor in what destroyed the USSR. We are no different.

China has a formidable military, but they don't make much use of it. This is what we should have done, and if we had, China wouldn't be a threat to us at all for world domination. We were the clear victors of the Cold War in 1992, but it was all thrown away a year after Rebuilding America's Defenses was published. We had such an opportunity, instead we began trading with China and going into debt to do it. We should have rebuilt manufacturing, and leave Asia to itself.

Globalism is a real thing, the idea is that if every area is interdependent on another, war can't be waged - you can't bomb your food source, and they can't bomb their manufacturing source. That's the whole idea behind it, but the US and China are two separate entities, and China is really not dependent on the US. The same cannot be said about US dependence on China. Imagine China just stopped all shipments of everything tomorrow? If China sets up a suitably stable currency that is immune to the US dollar and has supply lines for energy and raw materials (Russia), they can do this. That's why Ukraine is such a disaster, it's created an economic block between Russia, China, and India, and threatens to consume South Korea and Japan.
