Weinstein brothers are OK as far as commentary pundits. They seem to do a decent job of outlining descriptions of the existential fuckaciousness of current events.

I used to listen to them but stopped because they seem to lack broad context. Eric in particular seems more interested in 'looking smart' as opposed to 'being smart', he sells it. However, he often gloms in the shallow end of the pool when he should be taking deep dives.

His brother has said a few things that are kind of wrong. Not malicious or deceptive, just wrong about some things that I just happen to know about from my own education and life experience.

I sometimes wonder if they are there to stall the conversations at a certain level without going further, but maybe they have improved like we all have over the last couple of years. I find that my time is better spent with deeper and more enlightened commentators.
