Weinstein brothers are OK as far as commentary pundits. They seem to do a decent job of outlining descriptions of the existential fuckaciousness of current events.

I used to listen to them but stopped because they seem to lack broad context. Eric in particular seems more interested in 'looking smart' as opposed to 'being smart', he sells it. However, he often gloms in the shallow end of the pool when he should be taking deep dives.

His brother has said a few things that are kind of wrong. Not malicious or deceptive, just wrong about some things that I just happen to know about from my own education and life experience.

I sometimes wonder if they are there to stall the conversations at a certain level without going further, but maybe they have improved like we all have over the last couple of years. I find that my time is better spent with deeper and more enlightened commentators.

There's two concepts of Democracy:

1. That people can elect people to direct policy according to a competition among real leadership quality and policy choices

2. Protect "Muh Democratic Institutions", which are usually dominated by interests/philosophies such as the FDA, which is run for and by BigPharma and BigAgra. Via appointees from the Corporate/Academic world interested in avoiding longtiudinal research into Soybean oil, or allowing a condiment made with 95% Egg Whites to be made with no Egg Whites yet still allowing it to be called "Mayonaise"

That's just it though. Just okay. Their faces and hair piss the living fuck out of me. The one sounds like a cat dying when he talks. The other has marbles on his face that need a good grinding down.

Their whole rise to fame still boggles my mind. They kind of feel like word salad chefs where there's no content. Basically Kamala's older brothers. Act smarter than they actually are.
