Gruesome, Whitmer, and a few other Blue Governors like Hochul who have made very controversial decisions during COVID and with a rich record of Abortion, Taxes, Homelessness, Crime, Transgender in Schools, etc. There isn't a single Democrat that can attract any but the NeverTrump minority of the Republican party, who are voting Kamala anyway (David French & the fake Prolife purists who are holding Trump to a standard they never held any other Republican, including Reagan, too, etc.)
Republican talent pool includes: DeSantis, Vance, Youngkin, Abbot, Paxton (probably needs Governorship or Senate first), Rand Paul, Huckabee Sanders, Vivek (needs a major elected office first), etc.
This assumes Trump wins and we have a functional Republic in 2028 and beyond.
