Personally, I honestly don't know because there are far too many variables, such as cheating along with a possible late 'October Surprise.' But, if I absolutely had to make a choice, I'd lean towards picking Trump due to the energy factor, which appears to have shifted dramatically towards Trump. Another is that Trump has a slight lead in the national popular vote numbers; a true rarity for modern day Republican Presidential candidates. That indicates to me that, if true, the Trump numbers must be quite high in the battleground states in order to overcome the big popular vote numbers in California, New York, Illinois & the New England states. Obviously, if he wins a slight majority of the battleground states, he wins the election.

I'll go out on a limb and call it for Trump. What's your take?

I think this is propaganda bullshit designed to 'scare' other Mockingbird media into the knee jerk endorsement of the KamalaToe train wreck. How would they possibly be able to count and know this so soon? It's impossible, just another lie/assertion fallacy added to the stack.

Also the real value of all the increases in the housing and stock market are from inflation. If you sold your inflated house for another there is no gain. Wages have not kept up with inflation. All of my assets have doubled, so what it's not like I'm selling anything. My income has went up a lot since 2020 but it increased as fast as everything else.
Younger people that haven't had the chance to build up assets like most of us on here. They are being fucked over and priced out, what are they going to do just wait around for us all to die. My children's generation has been looted.

Correct, that's why one needs to keep investing. The boomers looted most of it, some bragging about their 7th bionic knee surgery without paying a dime on Medicare at my local gym. The youth goes left because they can't see the real cause of their financial pillage. But when leftoid Marxism will make it only worse for them, they'll steer hard right. It's starting to happen in other countries as well. Fire the globalist boomfucks!

Nonsense. Your whole premise is that high inflation is great. Inflation benefits from those with first access to the money (the very rich) while everyone else takes it in the shorts. So what if someone's house "value" increases their paper net worth? That is not spendable money and causes true out of pocket expenses to increase such as property tax. Plus, when one sells and moves, the replacement house also has an inflated value along with higher commissions and transaction costs. People who do not own homes will see their rents increase. As for stock ownership, the top 10% own about 90% of the stocks. The middle income tend to own stocks in 401Ks and the like, while the lower class hardly own stocks at all. As far as you saying people should have invested in tech stocks, well that is easy to say after the fact. Why did you not invest in Future Fuels (FF)? After all, you could have bought it for sixty cents a share in early 2024, and it is worth over $6 today.

It must be extremely rare for someone's net worth to "triple" just because of Biden-Harris high inflation. I am one of those who should have "benefited" from inflation - I own a paid for house that inflated to $1million, I have over $1million in laddered CDs that saw the rates climb from just below 1% to around 5%, and I have over $1.5 million in stocks (some tech like Apple and Micron, some not, though all pay dividends). My net worth did not triple. It took me several decades to accumulate my net worth, and I do not want to see the value of my savings inflated away. Even more so, I want a stable economy so that the next generation can acquire wealth. Without a stable economy, it will be a war between old folks like me who were able to accumulate assets when those assets were affordable, and the young who cannot afford to save because high inflation eats all their earnings.

Did your California house triple in "value?"

If you got some exposure to these stocks the past years or even just a tech ETF fund, own a home, and kept your job…. Who should be the majority of people.

This here is a perfect example of those clueless about how Working Class America lives. Like when Queen Antionette supposedly said, "Let them eat cake" about the peasants getting upset because that is what she would do whenever she got upset.

@LAOwner0000 is either deliberately trolling...or like Queen Antoinette, is genuinely in such a bubble as to be utterly clueless as per the above.

Ludicrous election year assertion fallacy from a bot? I have all of those things and my after inflation remainders, even with the recent artificial stock market goosings and increases, have a real spending power of at least 25 percent less, maybe more, since Biden Actor et alia. Pretty steep inflation taxation to support DC sending bales of money to Ukraine etc. just to launder back to Congress while infrastructure crumbles in USA. Everything foreign occupied DC does now, no matter what virtue signaling garbage they call it, is money laundering by another name.

My older usually liberal friend noticed that his spending power dropped from his pensions and social security. It doesn't hurt until it's in your front yard, then wham. You can only have the delusions you can afford, and he seems to be deciding he can't afford the delusions any more.

That won't be necessary, just reform medicare and let them pay their fair share. You should get paid out what you paid in, inflation adjusted, no other "guaranteed" gains or coverages. Maybe remove the taxes on it for those who take a lumpsum and manage their own care. Less govt at work the better. Also wtf is this glp1 for all bs, same for statins and diabetes. Favor lifestyle changes over paying for costly drugs which don't work. There are some truly great drugs out there and a lot of innovation, but they get buried by BP selling their shit backed by govt.

Lol, the contradiction is right there. First, you're proud of inflation driving up the nominal price of financial assets, then you say inflation is not an issue.

It's definitely an issue for the large majority of people. They are being badly hurt by Bidenflation and it's obvious to them every single day:

I was I my 20s in Los Angeles, when housing was bubbling up to 2007 heights. I was on Patrick.net in the bubble run making $40k a year thinking I would never own a home. It’s all cyclical. Guess what, I kept working, kept saving/investing, lived with roommates, the market crashed and I got on the ladder. I guess a vote for Trump is just a vote for deeper harder crash in my opinion. (You guys realize that’s the only way for inflation to get under control…. Lots of asset drops, job losses, and pain…. Trump isn’t going to have a fun presidency if he accomplishes his goal of lower inflation.). I understand, but what I’m saying is anyone that is “on the ladder” probably would prefer not to fall hard. I think democrats are better at kicking the can…. And figuring it out down the line. Trumps policy will speed up the chaos after maybe a short lived 2 year bull run like last time. Whatever, I don’t care anymore, I’ll figure it out, I’m a white male with a sizable net worth, living well below my means… I’ll be fine either way. I laugh at all the feuding over the social issues nonsense and ignore it.

Everyone on here aside from a “duck dude” was trying to talk me out of buying a house in 2011. Inflation is a byproduct of the pandemic stimulus that started under Trump. (Can argue fairly it was exasperated and encouraged by Dems not letting a “good crisis go to waste” policies.

But most people got something positive out of the pandemic reset that they don’t want to give up. My industry got to work from home forever… and isn’t going back to occupy high priced real estate cubicles.

I’m not proud of inflation… it was just an inevitability even if Trump were at the helm the past 4 years.

And unwinding us from this is gonna be ugly and painful for a lot of people. What Trump is inheriting is a very precarious situation… I’ll be amused how much he fucks it up. The markets are up, but could easily drop if a recession stifles consumer spending. Atleast I feel like I know under Harris the “kick the can” will continue.

One thing Trump can do is turn on the oil spigot that Biden has been so aggressive about shutting off. For example, Biden shut down the Keystone pipeline his first day in office.

Turning that oil on again would instantly lower the price of fuel, and everything that requires fuel to be shipped, which is everything.

That's great but my 401(k) isnt paying this week's grocery bill. And most of America barely has a six month emergency fund, let alone a side investment account. No it wasn't. We let in millions of people illegally. At the extreme lowest levels a person spends $80-100 per day to survive. Housing, food, clothing, etc. Yes covid fucked up the supply chain, but so do millions of illegals. The supply chain can't go from 0 to 100 overnight. So everything was under produced. Prices go up.

Trump wants to get production back locally. Harris doesn't likely know how to drive a car let alone lead a country. Whatever money he had from daddy, Trump has run successful businesses. Kamala is a do nothing cunt.

The machines are so transparent to hackers that in 2020 a hacker in Georgia hacked into a machine remotely outside the polling place while the voters were in line (the voting machines have cell phone chips). Also, comms were being sent by bluetooth to Chinese TV sets in the polling areas and those comms were traced back to China in real time.

She wouldn't have announced it if the cheat were going their way. How to debug the bug in the cheating bug?

I would be surprised that there is no hacking team from the white hats active this time. May the best hacker win. Will the success or not of the fraud be in the hands of the competing hackers?

You know how you get housing inflation under control? Repatriate 20 million illegal non-citizens, and ban investment bank speculation in the domestic housing market (bring back Glass-Steagall). No more BlackRock, Blackstone Group, Vanguard et al buying so much housing, they’re on pace to own 40% of the domestic market by 2030. Especially with BlackRock’s access to Federal Reserve printing. It’s a small club, and you ain’t in it.

Additionally, prevent Section 8 from paying more than market rents, and pricing out locals (who also have the privilege of living by Sec 8 recipients).

Yeah and it's resulted in inflation because of less production and management. I hate the corporate structure. I won't go into an office again. But 80% of Americans NEED that structure. WFH won't work long term. It can for a select few.

There are too many distractions on a computer. Social media, shopping, porn, etc. I get done what I need and like I said, semi retired. It's not realistic to work from home at 100%. Can you work at 80%? Sure. But then you need to hire someone to fill that 20% gap. It's likely closer to 50% though.

Covid to win an election has resulted in a lazy work force. Unless you're the rainmaker the company you work for will lose money with work from home. You then have to work harder or go back to the office.
