I rent a server from Digital Ocean for this site. It's just a raw server, so I installed postfix on it, but that's kind of nasty if you're not used to unix tech. It requires DKIM and SPF or your emails tend to get blocked, which is even more of a pain.
I never used a 3rd party for sending emails, but I've heard of this one and I assume they must be OK:

@Patrick you do that on this website, any vendor you'd recommend? This would be for sending our church newsletters, so whomever signs up.
