"Sarah" McBride, a man whose real name is Timothy McBride but now likes to pretend he’s a woman, will be the first man to wear a dress to work in the United States Congress.

We must all speak the truth, especially when ordered to lie. Tim McBride is still a man and that cannot ever be changed by surgery or drugs. It is wrong encourage severe mental illness, and it is also wrong to force the public to play along with a lie.

He will be US representative-elect for Delaware's at-large congressional district. Democrat of course.

Finally yesterday, MSNBC ran a snarky, motive-imputing story headlined, “Nancy Mace wants to welcome the first openly trans member of Congress with a bathroom ban.” You can thank Delaware voters, who elected Tim “Sarah” McBride as the nation’s first openly cross-dressing Congressman, er, Congresswoman, um, oh fine, Congressperson. Despite MSNBC’s paranoia that radical Christians are racing around trying to hamper its bizarre sexual adventurism, the nation just shrugged and asked, again, “am I taking crazy pills?”

You can’t blame Tim, I mean Sarah, or whatever they call xeselves. He turned his poor employment prospects into her lucrative career in federal politics. And it only hurt them a little. He, I mean she, they, doesn’t have multiple personalities, they just refer to xeselves in the plural third person because of science. And don’t call them crazy! They’re not crazy, are they, my precious, hmm….?

Sorry, I got distracted. The developing story was that, upon hearing of McBride’s glass-skirt shattering election, rape survivor and feisty South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) became distressed at the notion of sharing the Congressional ladies’ room with Tim-Sarah and his, I mean her, its, xers, or rather their special package. So Nancy, the biological woman in this equation, filed a resolution that, if passed, would require House members, officers, and employees to use the bathrooms and locker rooms of their biological sex.

Hoo boy. It erupted like a stick of dynamite dropped into a porta-potty. MSNBC reported that Mace’s resolution “sparked outrage among Democrats,” which was an understatement on the scale of calling the Hindenburg Disaster an “unpleasant balloon ride.”

No shrinking violet, Georgia’s firey Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) joined forces with Mace and publicly promised to fight McBride if she ever finds him in a ladies’ room anywhere in the House. It’s not quite like fighting cartels armed with grenade launchers, but Ms. Greene has all the spunk and fire of a Texas Land Commissioner.

I wish there were more strong men like all the strong ladies in today’s post. Affable Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) was hectored by deranged reporters all day about Rep. Mace’s proper-potty resolution. In his first effort, mild-mannered Speaker Johnson disappointingly tried much too hard to be politically correct, amiably urging mutual respect for everyone and genially saying nothing of substance.

But at least Johnson fixed it a little later. Maybe he watched his uninspiring performance. Either way, he re-emerged at the press podium and this time, quoting Scripture as authority, definitively stated that wearing skirts and lipstick does not magically transform men into women, as if that needed saying (which, astonishingly, it did and still does).

I believe this story is much bigger than just a kerfuffle in the Congressional toilet, or even than transphobia! in the House of Representatives! Should the House pass Mace’s resolution, which by some accounts does not go far enough, it will cast a dark shadow of precedent across the nation. Pro-women activists nationwide can use the House resolution to argue for similar ordinances and rules in their own locales. If it’s good enough for Congress…

Indeed, since McBride is the first cross-dressing Congressman to sashay into the House of Representatives, this is the first time the House has been forced to grapple with the incendiary bathroom/locker-room issue. The Republicans hold the majority and can easily pass a sensible resolution like Mace’s. Will they have the courage to do it, in the face of a coordinated captive media war ben on their political destruction?

Yesterday, the House of Representatives’ bathroom brouhaha developed a little more, as The Hill ran a late story headlined, “Speaker Johnson announces policy barring trans women from Capitol bathrooms.”

As Speaker, Mike Johnson (R-La.) makes the rules relating to House administration. Yesterday afternoon, possibly short-circuiting Nancy Mace’s pending resolution (which would have extended to all federal facilities), Johnson announced his office would soon publish new rules restricting private areas like bathrooms and locker rooms to designated biological sex.

In other words, only people born without a prostate gland can use the ladies’ rooms.

In his announcement, Speaker Johnson diplomatically explained that every Congressman has their own private restroom, and the House’s public areas include many “gender neutral” unisex bathrooms. So. But to his credit, Johnson refused to accommodate the left’s delusional gender theories, and added, “Women deserve women’s only spaces.”

Until about ten minutes ago in historical terms, the notion that women deserve women’s only spaces was considered a settled debate. Now, apparently, the situation is more fluid.

I think the trans thing is falling flat with classic liberals. It's becoming embarrassing and is not working with evidence from early November. They lost in a clean sweep.

I grew up when Rupal or whatever the guys name was a thing. Didn't care, made fun of it and moved on. Now you get shit on for making fun of them and are a racist or bigot somehow?

They're fucking weirdo lunatics. There are blacks that are losers and should be locked up. White trash that beat their wives. I guess being a normal human with a dick or vagina naturally is no longer allowed? Raising a family with morals is wrong? As witnessed here I don't have a religious bone in my body. Catholic church and others didn't help themselves there. But just fucking be decent to people. I don't push my opinions on anyone and then trash them if they don't abide to what I want. In my head I'll think you're an idiot and just move on. I can't control dip shits.

Guess the trannies just pee in the sinks in the womb-men's bathrooms instead of squatting on the toilets.

The real pet peeve is simply that the trans keep leaving the toilet seat up.

Encouraging children to adopt mental illness and genital mutilation should be classified as a sex crime against minors.

Can confirm. I mean, Its a free country, and people can dress and style their hair as they wish. And its a free country so other people can think that's weird. No one should have to 'tow the line' in recognizing someone to be something if they fundamentally don't believe they are. To me, 'male' and 'female' (when referring to organisms) have specific biological meaning, and it is NOT the same thing as 'gender roles' which can be cultural and social.

Womens sports and womens protected spaces are sort of made to keep men out. Mens sports and mens spaces, anything goes. I think that's how the UK decided recently. I think thats fine.

Democratic party is shooting itself in the foot with this stuff, so we have a red sweep. Democrats will just say "our messaging is bad... we dont need to change our positions, just our messaging"... It is beyond frustrating for those of us who want moderate policies.

That's because moderate are today's MAGA Americans, leftoids just can't see this due to TDS. If you are a classic liberal moderate then you vote for Trump. Go watch his interview with Oprah ~30 years ago, back then running as a Democrat. His positions are exactly the same as today, but the liberal audience back then were fawning over him, including Oprah. That's when the liberals and Democrats were still normal as opposed to complete lunatic fringe marxist nutjobs like today. There is no "moderate" democrat policy, you need to join today's Republicans for that. JFK was closer to Trump than any Democrat of today. Fact.

OH come on. Moderate means center of the electorate. Trump got 49.8% of the vote. Harris got 48.3%. About half of America is demonstrably left of Trump. And of the Trump voters, many are left of Trump too but still voted for Trump. Center of the electorate is about halfway between them.

I get it that everyone thinks "I am the moderate and everyone else is a weirdo". But there is really no way to reconcile the election results with your statement. Trump is not "center" of the electorate. He is right of center. Maybe if he got 75% you could make that statement with a straight face.

Please reread what I said. Yes almost half disassociate themselves from Trump, but if you watched the Oprah interview 30 years ago on YouTube you'd know it's a delusion because Trump has not changed and back them everyone loved him with his America First agenda (when he ran as JFK type Democrat). It's mostly TDS and no substance
