These are tribal areas. Where group of tribe were converted to Christians n now won't allow nearby people to own or live in their area. So surrounding tribes are not happy.
Another issue is aggressively trying to convert people.
When Europeans were in power they used harsh methods like cutting hands to convert.
They feed n give rice to poor people, admission to good school or job if they convert.
Jehovah's Witnesses on steroid. So people r not having it.
Another one is that us wants base near Bangladesh, when Bangladesh declined, they over threw govt. Now they want to use local Christians in one state near bangladesh to start complaining so they can get their own country where us can have base.

Why are Christians being discriminated against by Hindus now?
Muslims have always oppressed all other religions, but Hinduism is theoretically very tolerant, or so I was taught.
