Until you've encountered someone OD'ing you, not anyone posting, have no clue. So I bet my buddies dad $100. We both agreed to wait till the appeal process did its thing. I'll probably just have him take me for a round of golf. I think I'll be getting that by the sounds of this.

This isn't on topic, but I think Barrack Obama was the worst thing that ever happened to this country. He made all this shit happen. Trump isn't divisive. He insults/jokes. Obama wanted divide. Floyd was the final outcome of that in a big way. He's a Chicago scumbag. I'm not from Chicago, just have lived and have worked there.

Saturday evening I was in a hotel and saw BBC news.
They had an entire segment of the "anniversary" of Floyd being "murdered".

In the newspaper business, the George Floyd stuff would be called a "man bites dog story."

Everyone knows we need cops around to keep the violent black guys from robbing, mugging, assaulting, carjacking, and killing us.

Actually, some of us know that the cops can't prevent anything, so we need to pack some heat, i.e. a gun.

I always have hand warmers in my car... lol, not joking, IL winter.

I won't carry a gun on my person. I 100% agree with being able to and exercising that right, but I'd be in prison with my temper. I can't do prison because of my temper. There's at least 2-3 people a month I encounter where I'd love to have them exit this earth. I'm not a good candidate for a CC permit.

Once you realize how dumb certain people are, you realize having a gun would be a mistake. At least with my personality, even though I 98% of the time get along with everyone. I have my FOID card, but still won't buy a gun for the house. There's no crime in my area. If I buy a gun I'll go over the top. Nicest I can get and copious amounts of ammo. Not worth the cost where I live. I don't think I'd even use it for target practice.

My having a gun is a mistake for the person at the wrong end of it 😈
