I looked for "Vaccine", nothing came up. Looking for other tricks to stop MAHA and MAGA and fund extra shit nobody wants.

Only 118 pages. Seems short compared to most bills, and certainly compared to the 1,500 page porkulous predecessor.

Gotta have that debt ceiling extended. It's how the Uniparty intends on throttling Trump's Agenda, since tax cuts and policy changes of MAGA = spending according to how GAO/Congressional Rules calculate budgets.

Debt ceiling is all showmanship anyway, they just raise it every time it's reached.

I also did a search for "vaccine" and "pandemic" and nothing came up.

Flipped through the whole thing. Really boring, which is probably a goal of the bill. They don't want anyone getting too interested in how taxpayer money is being spent.

The climate change waste is there it's buried in the billions for disaster relief. I like the 1 million for the New Mexico wildfire that was started by the forestry dept. the largest ever in the state.

But couldn't we live with the current debt ceiling if DOGE managed to cut enough pork?

Maybe but DOGE is going to take a while.

Trump wants to get his Stop Double Taxed Soc Sec, No Tax on Working Hard (O/T), No Tax on Tips through. Since Congress counts tax cuts as spending... the ceiling would get in the way.

"Trump's tax cuts would bust the debt ceiling in just 4 years! It's a no-go according to the Rules Committee. The Lobbyists estimate the tax revenue from tariffs wouldn't offset, so both Middle Class tax cuts and tariffs are a no go. Meanwhile we'll continue to give tax credits to companies that hire TPS migrants through the workfare program""

Bill Passed.

Trump wins with a relatively clean bill, third time the charm.

As someone that has worked with a US House Rep, it's not happening. They'll make minor cuts here and there. Nothing significant. It will be like $200-500M of bull shit programs. Drop in the bucket. We need $200-500B with a B. Just not gonna happen.

Fact is Congress is the problem. Until people realize this and take those races seriously it will never change. Especially Senators. House seats are easy to be had if you get a popular business person to buy in on running. Which they should be vetting right now and making sure they can win and fund a campaign in the district. Republicans are retarded about this though.

That's why we have to doubt the shit out of the "Freedom Caucus". Their goal is NOT to implement DOGE recommendations, NOT to pass the Trump Deportations, Tax Cuts, or American Agenda, but to bind it up in bullshit "Ceilings" that they were happy to suspend for Biden and CRs that increased funding for everything with no questions or cuts.

Mass Deports and Enforcement will require funding. Because of House Rules, Tax Cuts are considered "Spending". Reimposing the Ceiling on Trump that they (Massie was a key Cmte AND final floor vote) suspended for Biden is what they are knowingly doing to stop the MAGA agenda.

Yes. By the "true conservatives" voting no to push back the redemption of the debt ceiling, it limits Trump's ability to enact his MAGA agenda from Deportations to tax cuts.

The "true conservatives" are playing games talking about a debt ceiling that hasn't been there since june 2023 are hoping conservatives fall for their stupid shit and support them while they make it very hard for Trump to enact his agenda. Pay attention. They are lying to you. They know this. Mace, Massie, and all 38 who voted no know this. They all know this. They will tell you all day long that they want mass deportations and lower taxes, but then vote against those things when they think you are too stupid to understand their vote.

One wonders if the Jersey Drone Bullshit was part of the plan. They ALL know what they are doing, they are not stupid. Mace, Roy, Massie, they all know. Just like Johnson said months ago no last minute CR, and yet he did just that.

14 Republicans voted the First bill down
Yet 38 voted the Second bill down.
And 34 voted against the Third Bill.

What did 24 more Republicans that voted for the digusting First Bill vote against the Second, and 20 said NO against the third?

These 20-some odd GOPers got caught with their hand in the First Cookie Jar, and then condemned all the Cookies as "Bad for health"

So why the DOGE tsar was demanding the debt ceiling to be raised? Isn't it counter to his own stated agenda?

Someone on Substack commented that even that short text has the bioweapons labs funding in it. I didn't see them, but didn't know what to look for exactly.

Because as the "Fiscal Conservatives" in Congress know, and I've been trying to explain, that deportations, walls, and especially tax cuts are all "Spending" according to Congressional Rules.

Therefore if the "Fiscal Conservatives" who lifted the debt ceiling for Biden and McCarthy in 2023 decided to reimpose it, in a very convenient attack of Muh Principuls, for Trump, it means his agenda doesn't get done. Or as Bonehead and Ryan did repeatedly for Obama.

And that's why they'll have an attack of the Principles they didn't have in June 2023. To stop funding deportations, walls, and middle class taxcuts. They'll also grossly undercount tariff revenue while overstating the impact of not taxing working harder than normal under O/T, or eliminating the double taxation on Social Security.

Debt ceiling is more or less irrelevant in flaming bankruptcy. It's a call for intervening credit and money printing to keep the corporate zombie lurching forward under pretense of being extant. May as well just increase the debt ceiling for logistics.

Trump will likely formally declare the bankruptcy, with the return activation of the Republic. The Republic (not active since the Euro Corp takeover around 1871) isn't responsible for the debts of the British and Vatican corporations, which are finally dissolved anyway since October.

The formal bankruptcy might come pretty soon, since so far, Congress voted a three month continuation of the corporate zombies as if they were still real so they could perform as many last minute plundering and atrocities as they can. It seems the extension will end as of January of 2025.
