Even good gaming company was founded by young men who loved games and just wanted to make the best ones they could. Every successful company they ran was taken over by dude bros and then DEA extortionists who proceeded to ruin the companies. All the good game developers left 15 to 20 years ago.
Today I only play old games. I'm not even interest in new ones. The same goes for movies and t.v. shows. We have the best television sets ever created today, and nothing new worth playing on them.
The Matrix was right. Our civilization did peak in the 1990s and it was all downhill after that. The last good year was 2000, which uncoincidentally was the last year of the 20th century. Gaming died around 2008 with just a few good titles coming out in the 2010s. Luckily, we have more than enough good content from the latter half of the last century to keep us entertained for the rest of our lives as we watch Western civilization burn down.
