Kulak, if you could, and if you agree of course, change the
title of this thread to simply "LA Fires" - leave your
original post unchanged. We don't need 20 different
threads discussing LA Fires. One, with the correct
title is more than enough.

The feel bad part is I don't give a shit to be honest. I don't care about any of these houses burning given where they're located.

My top 3 buddy is in the fire safety industry, so good friend in the top 3. IL mind you but there were basic things these millionaires and probably some billionaires could have done for under 1% of their net worth or $100k.

Insurers will not come back until everyone puts fire suppression systems in, not reliant on public waters. Cisterns/tanks. If you can't get insurance, ain't getting a loan. This is where the term fire sale comes from. If you want to live there now would be the time in the next 6 months to check land values. I'd bet 30% of residents are out to another area or 2nd home that doesn't start on fire.
