Kulak, if you could, and if you agree of course, change the
title of this thread to simply "LA Fires" - leave your
original post unchanged. We don't need 20 different
threads discussing LA Fires. One, with the correct
title is more than enough.

This is where the term fire sale comes from. If you want to live there now would be the time in the next 6 months to check land values. I'd bet 30% of residents are out to another area or 2nd home that doesn't start on fire.
