But there is some nuance. What if the alien provided false documentation? Would it matter when he was hired? Say he was working there for 20 years.

Many employers, if not most, are fictitious persons. For corporations revoke their charter and confiscate all assets. This will surely get to comply, but no one will support such legislation.

Any employer should simply point out that the State of California openly employed an illegal as one of their attorneys. Until those responsible for. that transgression are brought to justice, don't pick on the little guy...after all nobody is above the law.

Do you really think that the Federal government would arrest a bunch of California government employees ????? What country do you think you live in ????
