Who this thread isn't for:

1. Being pissed about one or two things not getting done/being done
2. Libtears and Libtards.

In short, it's about the "But I wanna lose, it excites me" fetish some have.

I didn't save the video, but some gov employee was bemoaning the fact they had to go to work, Monday through Friday, 9 to 5.

and then she repeated for emphasis: "Even to 5PM on Friday!"

Special election vs. Regular election. State Seat, not Federal.

Winter Storm The winning Dem got almost half the votes vs. 2022. Ultra low turnout favored the militant Union Vote

Dems are gov employees who are spending 2/3 of their day on Reddit and Bluesky.

And to crown all, it began as a three way race with the losing Republican refusing to endorse the winner in a huff. Supporters of either were attacking each other right into Election Day, so the most motivated part of the Republican party were split.

It means the TX Senate has a 19:12 Republican Majority instead of 20:11.

There are thousands of state offices across the country. Losing one is not even a rounding error and apropo of nothing.
