Is it true that the main principle of negotiations described there is basically giving the opponent most of his ask right off the bat?

Except we didn't. Only some banks were cut off but plenty remained connected "to process payments for food, oil and fertilizer" and naturally the shit was rerouted through them. This goes for everything: Joe-fucking-Biden made sure everything he was doing was half-ass, too little and too late.

Soo, Donnie made more concessions - lifted sanctions from Moscow's banks dealing with Syria and stopped supplying arms and ammo to Ukraine - and Pukin shat on his face by ordering a huge drone strike on civilians right after their phone call.

The art of the cuck?

The art of the deal by the former Soviet foreign minister Andrei Gromyko:

- First, demand the maximum, do not meekly ask but demand.

- Second, present ultimatums.

- Third, do not give one inch of ground because there will always be someone in the West that will offer you something maybe half that you did not previously have.

You be the judge which art of the deal works better.

Problem with art if the deal is that after 2-3 times no one takes your ask seriously if they know your strategy.

Trump screams for something, everyone knows he’s bluffing ultimatums and asking for the moon and will settle for less. Art of the deal is better described imo by Daniel Carnegie.

The Gromyko strategy is not a secret and hasn't been for a long time yet the Western idiots fall for it time and time again.

He started with giving away 1/2 of the farm. And was predictably presented with more demands. Then he gave away even more and was again rebuffed and faced with demands for MOAR.

Couldn't even get a fucking ceasefire after a whole year of dancing and it seems like he abandoned this very minimal condition alltogether.
