So as not to pollute the Housing Peak 2 thread, here are decorative classics from the Central East (Space Coast) of Florida.

There's Espresso, and then there's 70s brown mixed with Pac-Man Yellow above dingy cabinets warped by decades of "Grandma says 85F is fine!" humidity

Nothing says modern like 1991 Billard Green Walls.

When a "Walk in Closet" is really a Toe-in closet, an extra few inches

Ah, Pink n' Grey, or Tums and Bile. This is the converted carport room that probably is too hot for anybody under 75 to tolerate.

Asking: $260k
Sold in 2020 for $117k
Sold in the early 2010s for $136k

I'm sorry, place is one of the least bad, has been semi-updated over the years, but not worth almost DOUBLE what it was 15 years ago, inflation or no inflation.

CLASSIC! STYLISH Late 1980s KITCHEN with 20-year old appliances!

Jeez, people, wipe off the hand grease at least before snapping the photos.

Call me crazy but, I love that house. I actually want to buy a 70s house. There’s a penthouse in LV that rents for big bucks and is all decked out in the 70s.

Florida? Where is the alligator pit?

Put a million dollar sign on those babies in Santa Cruz outside of a trailer park and they'd be sold in a day. At least it looks like a nice area close to the ocean.

Santa Cruz comp @ 964 sq ft but no swimming pool around a million:

Here's a fine Appalachia tear down in Santa Cruz for a bargain price. Right off north Highway 1 (LOL they call this the banana belt) $748K. The FedEx warehouse looming at the property edge is cool, too.:

I like the 70s modern exterior ones, they're cool. Forgot the term for it. Like it better than the contemporary with 4 different roof slopes facing the front thing.

That is soooo sad.
