their biggest tank manufacturer cranks out only 10-12 fresh tanks per month and they get fucking artillery shells from NoKo.
more economically powerful
So what's the point of this misalliance again?
technologically advanced
'Friends of steel' — Xi, Putin vow to strengthen cooperation ahead of Victory Day celebrations, slam US leadership.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping hailed their countries' relationship on May 8, vowing to increase cooperation in all areas, including military ties.
With this assumption in mind, I have two questions:
1) Did the original faustian bargain by Nixon play out good in long perspective? Apparently not since we're now on the verge of WWIII with PRC and these fucks are more powerful now than USSR ever was.
2) What is the value of having USSR on our side at the cost of much more economically powerful, technologically advanced and populous Europe? It can't be their tech - their tech is shit. It can't be their industrial capacity: their biggest tank manufacturer cranks out only 10-12 fresh tanks per month and they get fucking artillery shells from NoKo. It can't be their military - their military is going into battle against much smaller opponent on fucking donkeys and avance 40 miles in two years. Do you think then can put any significant pressure on China on the ground while we fight them in the Pacific while keeping pressure on the European side? With what? Their fleet is even bigger joke than their army, so they can't help us in the Pacific. So what's the point of this misalliance again?
