At the time, Hamas was a self-strengthening, charitable party. Fatah (PLO) was the militant party.

Israel is not the first and definitely won't be the last country to encourage division in it's rivals/opponents.

If the US employs a tight immigration policy I don't see how they will attack them outside of the middle eastern region. If they attack say a ship or other body in international waters or territory, strike back fast and hard. No war needed, no?
