Researchers hope to grow the fetuses entirely outside a body in artificial uteruses, which are already being tested in labs.

They plan on using "genetic techniques" to stunt brain production and ensure the body lacks sentience.

Once they're grown, the bodies "could address many ethical problems in modern medicine, offering ways to avoid unnecessary pain and suffering," wrote the scientists.

There seems to be a lot of predictive programming these days surrounding clones. Of course, X files covered shape shifters and clones, and a surprising amount of their speculative science fiction seems to have some basis in practice.

Various Woo claim clones are manufactured in various ways, but that the basic techniques were worked out after WWII (with perhaps alien input) to produce various types of clones and the process has already been industrialized at some level in the top secret groups.

There's a very weird monograph by a guy called Donald Marshall who states that the elites have cloning farms. With blood samples, they can create age appropriate clones of individuals (not necessarily perfect and maybe shorter lived) and that consciousness is transferred from the host to the clone during ordinary REM sleep. They are called REM clones. The host retains entanglement with the clone and can 'dream' about what is happening to the clone. He also states the host can be murdered through stress and heart attacks by torture of the clone.

He says that in entertainment and Hollywood, when the fame seeking stars sell their souls, they agree to be cloned in this manner, and that their clones are used for Satanic rituals and degrading S&M and sexual abuse, including the clones of children. He claims the depraved Royalty will commission clones for their macabre practices. There do seem to be strange examples of celebrities who closely resemble other celebrities with different names, and even some celebrities who state that they have clones that are used for appearances. Marshall states that Whitney Houston was killed because she wanted out of her sold soul contract so they used a clone to stress murder her.

This clone stuff is claimed all the time, but I don't know what to make of it. The required tech just seems too advanced to do it, and it would probably need an alien 'boost' to get it off the ground if any such thing existed. It also requires a massive re-draw on what the nature of consciousness and the functions of memory exactly are aka DNA are just antenna to a consciousness that is contained in a parallel dimension and could also be accessed by a genetically identical clone etc.

There are also claims of a Black Goo, a kind of quasi living substance recovered from an island off Antartica, that killed several scientists studying it. It is supposed to have the capacity to create human clones.

There is a very strange program on Netflix called 'Katia' about a volcano in Iceland that generated clones. The clones have no 'soul' but look like the original and emerge nude from the volcano areas where some mystery substance in the volcano clones them. The volcano also clones animals.

Sounds like bullshit to me and I work in the industry. Then again only about 20 years ago people freaked out and banned the best forms of stem cell tech and since then the globohomos ran a world wide covid genetic experiment.

And I learned that the few co-workers who told me in confidence that they used to work at US bioweapons labs were most likely not full of shit.

I've never worked on drugs or animals. I'm not really even a fan of that wooly mouse that was in the news recently. I bet it overheats easily.

This shit got me worried. More than bullshit AI, this is what can turn our civilization into full predatory mode. Best case, pseudo scaffolds can grow whole organs, but what it takes a whole human body to do the same job? Then we're living in the dystopia of "Never Let Me Go," a great book and a good movie.. I'll throw cautionary tales from "The Macroscope" by Piers Anthony, as well as both of Harlan Ellison's anthologies "Dangerous Visions" and "Again Dangerous Visions." Greg Bear also comes to mind with "Blood Music" - all good reads.

Somebody has watched way too many South Korean SciFi thrillers.
This is the problem with liberals in "STEM", they are futurists, but not in the long-term sense, They take concepts that are something to ponder and to research technologies, that may be required to eventually get there. They just grab on to any half baked unpolished research to shoehorn those technology objectives into, without any real long-term testing and evaluation. They wont take a new breakthrough see all of the downsides to it, and try to develop alternatives to the proof of concept. 30 to 40 years ago, there's no way in hell they would have allowed Lithium batteries to be in so many products common in the home today, let alone a motherlode of a battery bomb sitting in an electric car sitting in the garage. With a charger demanding so much amperage that it is melting the busbars on the breaker panel.

Funny how we have to cater to the lowest denominator for things like Liberal laws, but not safety when it matters most.

This is the most unethical thing so called Scientists has floated in my lifetime. It just boggles the mind that they would think of it.
They would forgo figuring out artificial wombs, and start impregnating people in long-term vegetative states, and comas. Pay the patient's family a monthly check for womb rent. Just to shoe horn it to now, because an artificial womb part is really just Korean fantasy.
Like interplanetary space travel, worm holes, space elevators, nanobots and all other forms of hype tech.
